I don't have any kids, so some people may wonder why I would review a play place for little ones... Well, I have been to my share of children's parties at various gyms, bouncy house places, skating rinks, and other activity places. I just attended another party, and this one was at Lil Bambino's. First, you can't miss the neon green building when you turn on the street. If I were a kid, I would get super excited seeing the building. I never know how the service will be at these places because usually you find a couple of teenagers who are either overwhelmed or don't want to be working. That was NOT the case here. The two girls at the front desk immediately greeted me with enthusiasm, took my gift to the gift area, and openly invited me in. Throughout the event, the staff interacted with the kids and the adults, making sure we had what we wanted, and communicating with the parents about timing and gifts. You could tell this was something enjoyable for them as well. The giant climbing area with slides and tunnels and ropes looked really fun and kept the kids entertained. There is also a spacewalk for the kids to enjoy. I saw an area for babies, learning toys, riding toys, balls, and other fun things. And the major plus -- it was all so CLEAN! I recommend Lil Bambino's for a kids' party for sure. As an outsider, I had an enjoyable experience, and it was great being able to see the party boy's parents at ease too! read more

Saturday May 25th, we had our son's birthday party at lil Bambinos. Everything came out great! The assistants helped out with everything from decorating to serving the pizza and cake! We all had a blast. The only thing was, time went by way too fast, but that's probably because of all the fun! My toddler enjoys going so much that we try to bring him at least once month! It definitely tires him out and gets him ready for a nap! We love Lil Bambinos! read more

This is a really cool play place for kiddos! Perfect for birthday parties, play dates and a safe haven to have your kiddos let loose! My daughter loved the jungle gym, where she could pretty much monkey around. She's 7 and I could tell she is starting to outgrow that. There are several little playrooms and even one for the tiniest tots. Play kitchens, an inflatable and little knick knacks are everywhere. There is so much space where they can probably add more educational toys because that seemed to be lacking. The party room is fairly large and clean. It's located in the town of Gonzales, not too far of a drive from the Baton Rouge city center. Make sure to check 'em out for your active kiddos! read more

Love this place ! It's a great alternative to a outside playground or a playroom at home. Creative minds get unleashed here lol ! They have a play structure for small tots and a HUGE structure for older children. Then there's the mid sized bounce house. There are legos and a table with mega blocks for the little ones. They have a spiral spinning circle on the wall and a magnetic face maker. There's a child size connect four and soft blocks. They have a play store with carts and a checkout, too cute ! The magnetic wall is so cool, you can make a connected course with tubes, ramps and balls. They have another corner for small babies with age appropriate toys with a safety gate along with a rocker outside the gate for nursing or naptime. Then next to that room is a stage with play clothes, a puppet theater with curtain and LOTS of books. Something for every child. The offer snacks and drinks for a small fee as well as a membership for one or multiple children. They currently charge about $11 a child with unlimited in and out play for the day until closing. Excellent! Superb! Fantastic! I can't say enough great things about this local gem. At ten bucks per child for open play, you can't beat it! There are so many interesting areas to keep little ones engaged. The giant climbing structure is the most obvious feature when you enter, but there is also a massive jump-jump, a home center, music center, puppet theatre, library, infant area, shopping plaza, and science station. A small selection of snacks are available for purchase, but you are also welcome to bring in your own picnic. There is a large party room for birthday celebrations. This place has only recently opened and is an indoor recreation area and is for kids from 2 yoa up to about 10 yoa... They have several separate areas for the various ages of children... they have a reading nook, an engineering/science section with tables with gears and other such stuff for active little minds... They have a cool fort with slides and climbing sections and rope bridges for the older kids to play on and in.... this thing is totally enclosed for the kids' safety and they also have a section with a couple of smaller slides for the kids not ready or able to handle the big fort.... plus there is an indoor bouncy castle... Refreshments are available for purchase but one really cool thing is you can bring in your own food and drinks... They also have a section with tables and seating for the parents and for the kids to eat, either the food the parent has brought in or purchased refreshments... Lastly they are available for birthday parties and have a nice sized room in which to hold such a gathering... also you can purchase memberships or pay by the visit.... read more

I love bringing my kids here, there are so many sections for them to run to and play. There's a baby section for smaller babies so they don't get run over by the bigger ones. The parents can either sit in the middle of all the sections or inside one of the sections. Typically I am a helicopter mom but I felt that they were safe and let them roam freely, it was nice to relax and they played so hard that they almost immediately went down for naps after we left. read more

My daughter had a great time here! The girl working here was very nice and attentive. They have a bunch of different stations to play at like science, music, blocks, cars, etc. All the areas were clean and well kept. They encourage parents to play with the kids, but they also have tables and chairs set up of you just want to watch them have fun. I also noticed the air ventilation was very nice, my daughter never got over heated our red inn the face. I will definitely be back and might even get a monthly membership so we have somewhere to go on rainy days. read more

Still a great place. They did some maintenance and added more cooking/shopping food. So, I've added another star to my review. Staff is fantastic, especially Glynn. On days when kids are out of school, I'll call and they will tell me if its crazy busy or not. The price went up, it's now $10 plus tax. They have added lots of fun extra activities like Treasure night, etc. It's managed well and from what I can see it looks safe. I'm quite pleased and enjoy visiting a few times each month. read more

Really fun and relaxing place to bring the kids (relaxing for the parents, that is). Clean, fun, large, and varied enough to entertain my children time after time (ages 1, 5, 7, 8). At first, my child and I loved the place till today when one girl at the desk was being rude to my 3 year old daughter for a sticker! After my daughter had finished playing and we were on our way to our car in the parking, my daughter took a princess sticker from the desk but was crying because she wanted the Bubble Guppies sticker as well so we went back inside and kindly asked if she can have another sticker. Well, my daughter reached out and grabbed the Bubble Guppies sticker before the woman's response (come one, she's 3!) and the girl at the desk goes "You can only have one! Give me the princess sticker and I'll trade you for the Bubble Guppies sticker!!" with such a harsh rude voice. My daughter, who's already very timid, gave her the sticker and she reached out and tried to get another princess sticker from the sticker tray; because my daughter didn't understand why this woman was taking the sticker out of her hand, she reached for another princess sticker and the woman took away the tray and the sticker in her hand and said "Leave one sticker!! You can't have another!! The stickers are expensive!". My daughter kindly left the sticker. I'm enraged that this woman made my daughter cry in the car because she was embarrassed. I was planning to celebrate my daughter's birthday party here but this woman ruined this whole place for us. read more
