The Pool Club was the perfect vibe for a summer celebration. Rooftop views, great music, and delicious cocktails -- what more could you ask for? We went to unwind and celebrate, and the energy did not disappoint. The staff was attentive, and the space was aesthetically on point for pics and content. If you're looking for a chic day-to-night spot with city views and good energy, this is it. Will definitely be back! I go each summer!

One word and one word only...vibes. The rooftop pool is so gorgeous and cozy. The seating around the pool is cozy as well and abundant. They have different areas you can sit with different vibes. The poolside loungers are reserved for hotel guests. The drinks are AMAZING!!! I had the wagyu burger recommended by the bartender and it was delicious! I absolutely love the vibes, aesthetic, food and drinks at The Pool Club. This is a good to if you want to relax or impress friends visiting out of town. They have a lot of events there as well. I personally love the quieter times, but it is nice they are always having events.

My wife was keen on finding a rooftop bar that was high up and afforded a view. The pool club is located on the 13th floor of the Virgin Hotel. Make sure you walk through the funny library while in the hotel, there are some indeed some funny things to see. We enjoyed this place. The vibes, ambiance, aesthetic, decor, all of it was great! We went late on a Friday and there was a lot of people, we ended up sitting on the pool lounge chairs, which was totally fine. It is a nice walk from the French Quarter where we were staying. We had a few specialty slushy drinks out of the machine.

This place was great! We were staying at the virgin and popped up for a night cap. The drinks were decent, but the decor and ambiance was great! Service was quick! We tried to go during the day too but it was too busy, so I recommend making reservations if you can!

The pool is kind of public...you need a pool pass and that runs about $50. The pool is kind of small however. Chairs are for hotel guests and tables can be rented. The drinks are good. I had the Secret Location. Quite refreshing and tasty. The house sparkling is Montemarte which is fantastic! I'll likely be back. But I do wish the pool pass was cheaper. Also valet was super cheap!!!!!!

The vibe here is amazing, it's very low key and nice for a cocktail and chill. Music isn't blasting, so you can talk, go for a dip or enjoy the city views from your seat while sipping one of the delicious cocktails crafted by the mixologist here. Perfect for happy hour right after work or meet up in cocktail or casual attire with your crew. The staff here during both of my visits were very friendly, holding conversation and answering my many questions about the place.

So glad we ventured out of the French Quarter to head over to sip wine and cocktails at the beautiful tropical rooftop of The Pool Club. The wrap around rooftop deck and views of New Orleans were a memorable part of our trip. Seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing. A truly delightful Happy Hour (M-F 4pm - 6pm) experience that won't easily be forgotten.

Hands down my favorite hotel rooftop bar! The ambiance is amazing, the view is amazing, and I just overall love it here!! It's pretty new still, so it's like a best kept secret. The drinks can be a bit pricy but I chalk it up to paying for the aesthetic lol. One of these days, I'll actually get in the pool.

As one of the newest rooftop bars in NOLA, I knew I had to check out the pool club located on the 13th floor of the new Virgin Hotel. When arriving, you see the library which I thought was so cool! They have a really nice interior that is perfect for photos! Then, when you get off the elevator at the pool club you see a nice rooftop bar with a lot of sofas. They have a small pool with lounge chairs also. Since it's a weekday, there wasn't too many people there. It was easy to find a comfortable seat! To drink I tried the empress tea. I liked it! It didn't taste like it had gin it in. It was nice and light for the afternoon. Overall, I thought this rooftop bar was really cool and the hotel is also really cool. Can't wait to try the restaurant inside soon!

This place is the complete rooftop vibe! Definitely needed. Real chic vibe but super chill. It's fairly new so hopefully it only gets better from here. Bartenders were not engaging at all pretty piss poor attitude. Waitress was super cool and helpful. Empress Tea a must try but every drink was pretty good and refreshing.

Very serene. Very nice bartender. Good drinks. Great view! Would recommend the whole place -- the bar(s) downstairs as well as the rooftop.

I loved this place! The vibes, ambiance, aesthetic, decor, all of it was just so cute! We went late on a Thursday and there wasn't a lot of people, but it was nice to experience the place practically to ourselves. Will definitely be coming back to try more drinks. We had the Hurricane and several Espresso martinis and they were delicious

We got there just before 12pm, it opens at 11am and only waited about 15 minutes before spots opened up. It seems a lot of people come right at 11am. So by 12pm many people were grabbing their checks and heading out. The bar is really nice and even if you can't sit on the carousel, the bar area is nice too! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's EXTREMELY BUSY and very loud in here. Lol. As mentioned above, the bar is located inside the hotel so once you walk in through the front door you enter the lobby then head to the right. It's a first-come, first-serve situation (at least it was for us at the time). So of course, the carousel bar is the highlight. It's a slow rotating bar rail and it's adorable. Lol. Almost the entire bar is eyeing any available spots so you have to be quick, but be respectful. However, there are tables and such sprinkled throughout the bar where you can hangout at as you stalk the actual carousel. My wife and I sat in the window which made for some excellent people watching. Lol. Eventually after what felt like an hour or we did spot some spots on the carousel, my wife held them for me as I closed the check then finally got to sit... and SPIN! The bar completes a full revolution every 15 minutes so you definitely won't get dizzy. Service: We had no issues here whatsoever. The staff is just super busy all over the place, but they didn't miss a beat. Food: For my first drink I checked out their Oaxacan Midnight which was like a tequila play on the Old Fashioned. It was delicious, a bit lighter than an Old Fashioned, but certainly stood on it's own. For our first appetizer bar bite we tried the Blue Crab & Corn Beignet which didn't come out as I was expecting. Lol. I'm not mad, I just pictured the big, fluffy things from Cafe Du Monde, but maybe stuffed with goodies! These were more like fritter than I absolutely loved so much I ordered a 2nd plate. Lastly we tried the BBQ Shrimp which was grilled to perfection with a good snap, excellent flavor and good char along with a tangy, cream sauce on top. Value: It's pricey. Food and drinks were decent, but a SMIDGE overpriced, but... they know you're going to pay because you're on vacation, you're a tourist and you wanna be in this novelty bar. Lol. Regardless, I had a blast and you can say you did too whenever you check this place out! In conclusion, I've now been there, done that. Lol. I don't have to do it again, but if you're in the area, check this place out. It's a good time.

The space is absolutely stunning--flooded with natural light from massive windows that offer breathtaking views of the French Quarter and the mighty Mississippi River. I kept it simple with soda water while plugging away on my laptop, but my wife enjoyed a fresh salad along with a burger and fries, which she said hit the spot. The real standout was the service; our hostess Barbara greeted us with such a warm smile and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Not to mention they will take whatever tip amount they like out if you forget to close your tab.
