He is familiar with his customers and their prescription profiles which is very important. You are not being served by up to a dozen different pharmacists, often from other stores. (There is nothing wrong with this but I like to have someone who knows me personally). South Berwick Pharmacy has succeeded in compounding medicine for both me and my very ill cat. Each syringe is pre-filled which is a really big help for us. Matt's prices are terrific--he has found me a rare antibiotic when I had a hospital acquired infection that even the pharmacy at the hospital could not get. This pharmacist is knowledgeable, patient and kind. You should try the pharmacy because it is hard to describe just how differently you will be treated by a small pharmacy with big ideals. This pharmacy is the essence of all that is good about pharmacy, and pharmacists. Suggestion: If your pet is not liking the medicine ask to change the flavoring--I guess the same applies to children if it can be done given the compound. The staff provided good service at the time, but when a product fails on day one, that's a serious issue. Instead of resolving the problem, the store accused me of not being a real customer and implied I had some kind of agenda. I wasn't told to test the vape since it's a 510 thread and didn't require it. I even uploaded proof of the faulty product. I'm a regular shopper in the area with hundreds of verified reviews on Google, yet they dismissed my complaint and called me a scammer. This store doesn't take responsibility for its products and resorts to baseless accusations when faced with criticism. I can't support a business with such poor customer service and accountability. I…read moremoved to ME from MA a few months ago and switched my services after polling a local mom's FB group as to what was a great hospital and midwives service. The locals equally recommended York, Southern Maine, and Mercy Hospital as all good choices - so I chose York Hospital OB because of it's proximity to my family in MA. I've been to both the Wells and York offices and because I only needed 6 visits they made sure to rotate me through all the doctors, who have all been very knowledgeable and supportive and really seem to listen to my concerns. For one, I needed to continue a series of iron infusions ASAP and was having trouble getting my records transferred between hematology offices, once I explained this, the OB committed to calling my previous hematologist directly and had me referred within perhaps 48 hours to begin infusions based on her doctor-to-doctor communication. This was a huge stress off my plate. All of the midwives have likewise been pleasant and reassuring and the receptionists have all been very friendly and helpful. I also must comment on the associated hospital and maternity center. It is absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't sure what to expect as I'm used to a very large institutional feel (this is my 5th child) and the hospital is clearly smaller than I m used to. But open entering (main entrance) it was a very calming environment with beautiful wall murals and a cozy waiting area with a big fish tank and even a LL Bean-esque wooden play structure (with a pretend dock, so cute) that I my 3 yo daughter thought was awesome. We then toured the delivery area where I guess they've been renovating and the waiting room is AWESOME - depending on the time of labor, we may (eek) have to have all our kids come with us while we wait for family to arrive. After seeing the waiting I actually have no concerns about bringing all our kids there to hang out if needed - there is plenty of room and again, a cozy feeling... not cold or 'institutional' at all. I could see them claiming just a corner of the room with books, games, stuffed animals, and snacks and being just fine for a few hours. I hope that other locals are able to experience the same as I have and that this place gets the credit it deserves!
