This school is really great. All the teachers care about your children and treat them with respect. Very clean atmosphere my daughter has the best teacher in the world her name is Miss Keisha. Within two months of her being there at the school she learned English. She only spoke Vietnamese before. Very happy with her. Miss Keisha was so great with her that even when she comes home and on the weekends she says Miss Keisha taught me this or Miss Keisha taught me that. They have lots of activities for your children. I love this school, my son has been attending Lil Rascals for 3 yrs and has improved so much in many different ways. Every parent and teacher has there own style and ways of doing things but at anytime if you want anything done a specific way with your child they adjust with no issues. This daycare facility is absolutely AMAZING! They are the most helpful, loving and understanding staff ever. They love and care for the kids deeply, they are incredibly attentive and have a real connection with the parents and families as well. I don't care what ANYONE has to say about this place negatively Lil Rascals has been nothing short of the perfect place for the kids and my family. So let me make a real honest review. It's more than likely most of these reviews are fake and incentivized for tuition discounts as another person mentioned. I've had several issues and concerns regarding this place even the safety of other children in this facility which I'm going to break down & I'll even make a video. 1. They just recently made the inner door locked it used to be wide open and very easily accessible for anyone to walk in and take anyone's child. Even now with the door locked I still got in without anyone even looking at me they buzz the door but sometimes other parents coming out will let you in and no one is looking. The door outside is always locked but with constant people walking in and out the doors are open and people aren't always watching it would be very easy for someone to take a child. 2. They allow kids sick to come to daycare and causes all the other kids to get sick which becomes a vicious circle. 3. There were reviews but I guess it was taken down or they got paid off regarding teachers sharing the children's food with all the kids. They now get food from the state but before you would bring your lunch and they would give the food your brought to all the kids. I've seen it myself. 4. My child got hurt at this place twice once they did tell us about it the other time got no report and no one said anything as another parent here has mentioned. 5. Here's one of the craziest things I've seen and I reported it to Vanessa which she has now kicked us out with no notice just told us from now on we have to call to see if there's space. A teacher named Ms. Tiras I saw her from another room and she didn't realize I was looking (there are windows between rooms) She looked visibly upset. Looked very frustrated pointing angrily. At one point she lifted one of the kids but in a really rough manner and put the child down hard. Then she made jerking motions as if to try to scare the child then motions as if she was going to hit the kid but didn't. Then she turned around and saw me staring, you know what she did? she started jumping around smiling pretending to be happy and cheerful and turns on music. My daughter just recently went to her class and now we're kicked out. When I tried to call Vanessa several times she leaves us on hold or hangs out. Imagine leaving your child in a place that if one day they decide they don't like you they just won't answer. 6. I felt I needed to stand up and report that lady because the other parents weren't there to see that happening to their kids. 7. The place does seem clean but I worry about the safety of that place and really if you don't believe me take a tour and look. 8. They once actually lied about a day my child didn't go to school, I wanted to roll over the funds I paid for that day to next week. They said she was there. How are they going to tell me my child was in daycare when she was with me?! I then asked for paperwork they wouldn't provide my signature paper they just showed some paper half covered with what a teacher recorded but wouldn't show me my signed paper. 9. The last person I dealt with was Vanessa. Someone that seems to come off as a nice person but can be rude and uncompassionate. The Friday 9/28/18 when she gave us no notice made me take everything before leaving pampers and wipes obviously didn't want me there anymore. They always send notifications via the app but there's no notification of the drop in-program being discontinued. How can this women really say to a parent? call before coming in to see if there's space?? Working people... What then? if not I'm supposed to call out of work last minute? This is the person that runs the place? I'm pretty sure she isn't even a parent so how could she even understand. All you had to do Vanessa was talk to me not hang up on me(multiple times), not leave me on hold. I just wanted a conversation and explanation. On to greener pastures. P.S. Ms Blanche is great, also my child has come home with different clothes other then hers in her bags. Etcs I could keep going but letters are limited. read more

I came in for a tour and liked it very much, it looks like a mini school, it's not in a shopping center, the staff was very friendly and diverse. I specially liked when my son went to the playground as a Vpk group was playing and he started playing with the other kids I noticed the teachers watching over him as if he was one of theirs. One of the teachers even asked him if he needed help and was very sweet, i was standing far away and her demeanor really showed that she likes her job. Overall a great experience. read more

So I'm a mother of 2, a boy (2 years old) and a girl (an infant) I needed a good daycare that takes time in caring and also providing excellence education for my kids. So when I came across this daycare in my maps which is literally less than 5 minutes away from my apartment but also passing by you can tell they take care of the daycare just by the outside. Ms.Vanessa (director), Ms.Melina and Ms.Blanche (assistant directors) and Ms.Claudia (office staff) are always very nice and polite. They always answer any questions and/or concerns! I love that they made me feel so at home and at ease especially since it was my first time having both kids in daycare at the same time while I work and also get things done instead of running around all over the place on weekends. My son's teachers are nice, sweet and kind. He loves going to daycare to learn and see his friends. My daughter's teachers are nice, sweet and kind as well. I want to say thank you to Lil' Rascals Academy for making not only me but also Brody and Emma feel safe and comfortable and always welcomed. read more

We were hesitant to move our oldest child from the day care he was in as we needed a more affordable option (for 2!) And after much consideration we chose Lil'Rascals. The staff has been welcoming, professional & pleasant from day one. The school is clean & the way they divide classrooms per age range is wonderful! The move to this school has done wonders for our oldest son. He absolutely enjoys being there & adores his Teacher's. He has a smile on his face ever afternoon when he comes home & the baby (who is 3 months) has adapted well without any issues. His Teacher is wonderful & very attentive to his needs! We are very greatful that we found this school/daycare & could not be more pleased we have our boys here. Absolutely love this school. My son has attended for past 2 years and all I can say is they take excellent care of him. I could tell they love him and they love him back. As a working mom all you want if you are at work is for your child to be taken care of as you would take care. They came super close. He learned so much and he is ready for kindergarten and they did not break the bank. I also end up sending my daughter to after school care. Great people. Great child care. read more

Lil Rascals is like home to kids! Both my boys have attended this academy since they were 2 years old. My oldest started kindergarten with 1st grade reading skills. My 3 year old will soon start VPK here and I can't wait! The staff is very attentive, communication is never a problem and safety/cleanliness is always a priority. I was highly disappointed in the overall experience we had. My child came home numerous times with cuts and bruises with zero explanation. Also my child was bitten twice by another kid. I was always told "oh I'm not sure what happened" The children are loosely watched and the "teachers" seem to be more interested in rushing the kids through the day. Every time I went to pick my child up the entire class was running all over the place with zero guidance. Oh and not to mention if you have to drop off your kid early, have them be prepared to sit outside in the heat until 9 o'clock before they bring them indoors to start their day. My son attended this school for over a year. The 2 year old teachers were nice, so was the staff, however the 3 year old teacher Ms Maria was very disappointing. My child frequently came home with cuts and bruises with no accident reports and no one ever saw anything. There was never anything to bring home, and he would tell me he spent the day playing. Every time I picked him up he was watching a movie. I am/would pay the extra money to put my child elsewhere. This is a daycare, not a preschool...and the children are loosely watched. read more

I loved the school when I first walked in with all the student art work hanging around and the fun kid music playing throughout the building. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I love having the option of dropping him off early (7am) on my way to work then some other day cares we looked at that wouldn't take the children till 8am. read more

My daughter has been attending this school almost a year and i have seen tremendous development in her social skills.

My daughter has been in Lil' Rascals since she is 2 1/2 years old, during this time she had an excellent teacher I saw a lot of progress, her behavior improved a lot. When she moved to the 3's, everything changed, the teacher was a nice person, but didn't seem to have enough experience, this caused a lot of problems with her behavior, I didn't see as much progress as we did last year, the teacher was let go and a new person replaced her. On top of that the Director was changed and the new person is not approachable at all does not even answer when we say hello to her. I had a situation with my daughter and called her to clarify it, she was very defensive, rude and not helpful at all, didn't listen what I had to say, it seem like she just wanted to get out of the phone, then at the open house I was confused with the schedule and got to the school late, when she saw me she rolled her eyes and asked me in front of all the parents: "You don't have a lot of questions do you?" I felt put on the spot, this is a lack of professionalism. I have been talking to some other parents that feel the same way. At one point the communication with the parents was non-existent, however, that has been better lately. Overall, I like the school, the rest of the staff is great we love Natalia, her customer service is outstanding really helpful and sweet. The summer camp is nice really fun, my daughter loves it. We are looking forward for VPK. I just wish they change the Director. read more
