I went for a manicure on a Saturday, looking for basic cleanup and polish. the cuticle cleanup was a bit rough, with a few nicks and hangnails left, no soaking, it all felt a bit rushed. The polish bottles all looked old and half-empty. Even though the technician dried my nails for a long time and I was careful of them, the polish was chipping off most of my fingers by Monday! very disappointing. Ugh, so disappointed! I booked for a shellac manicure with white tips. I showed them a picture for reference and they chose to use dip powder instead. They ended up very thick with sooo many layers of powder and polish and were cured way too much. I asked for a few nails to be redone since the tips were so uneven or didn't match the others. I've been coming to this nail salon for years and have never been so disappointed in the result. Especially since these were done for a wedding. I'm not a person to complain or say I don't like my nails after they spent over an hour working on them, but safe to say I won't be returning. Praying I can fix these at home!! read more

My usual place was completely booked and I have a busy couple of days ahead. Luckily this place was close my my friends home. We gave it a chance and it was worth it. When you first walk in it's a really small shop totally jam packed with seating (they were clearly over booked) yet they still made time for me. They didn't do a rush job and that foot massage and scrub was everything. When it came to my nails I had a vision and they did soo well at bringing it to life. Give them a go! read more

I used to go to this salon all the time On my last visit, one of the technicians took off half my fingernail and I was bleeding everywhere. They are lucky I didn't make a bigger scene. When I say took off half my nail, I mean they tried removing an older acrylic nail and didn't do it correctly and literally cut off half my fingernail and had it bleed everywhere. As a consolation prize, they gave me 10% off... 10... that's a discount you give to someone paying cash, not someone you could have seriously injured. They completely messed up my nails. They're dip nails color we're very distorting. I choose a beige nude/ NO SHIMMER and the color that was applied was a pink, transparent and sparkly. When I told them I want it removed, this was not what I asked for, they started heavily arguing with me instead of helping the situation. The place also smells disgustingly like food as of they're cooking in their basement. Im paying 40 dollars for this. Horrible service and sanitation. I DO NOT recommend. read more

Had an appointment with my friend at 11am. The owner showed up at 11:05 to unlock and open the salon. While we were sitting there having our nails soaking they were cleaning, mopping and prepping for the day. It took over two hours for them to do nugenis - I ended up leaving without my massage cause it had taken so long. I had two different people doing my nails too - 3/4 of the way through my male manicurist was replaced by another women who worked on them for like ten minutes then he came back. I found it really unprofessional. They would have gotten one star but my nails looked nice. read more

I went here for my birthday based on a recommendation from a family member. I was so excited to find somewhere reasonably priced and with a student discount. However I will not be returning, and for good reason. The day after I got my pedicure, my toe started hurting. At first I thought it might have been from the technician scraping my skin with the tool used for clipping ingrown toenails. It's now 1 week later and I can barely touch my toe much less walk without excruciating pain. It is also bleeding constantly, skin is discoloured and is completely infected. I am now on intense antibiotics to try to get rid of the infection. For anyone planning to go here, I would choose somewhere else unless you want to be serviced using tools that are clearly not sanitary. And this is beside the point that my manicure and pedicure both had tons of bumps and air bubbles in them and the technician rushed my treatment because they overbooked themselves. Poor work and a toe infection? No thanks I'll pass on this place from now on. read more

Got my nails done here yesterday and the service was pretty bad. My nails did not turn out nice, they were bubbly and all a different shape. The salon did not have many regular polish colours. I went to lilac because I wanted to see if they were better then my usual nail salon and the definitely AREN'T. I asked for square acrylics and they are oval, not to mention one of the nails is on crooked. I am extremely disappointed in the way that they did my nails and I don't think I will be heading back there any time soon!!! read more
