    Tapioca with taro ice cream

What a place! The restaurant is amazingly beautiful. The service impeccable, the food is authentic and delicious ...with some fusion creativity in select dishes. Grand Cantonese dining. Everything is perfect. My photos here won't do it justice. We started with dim sum, the traditional Hai Gao shrimp dumplings and then some French inspired dumplings with escargot as the filling. Out of this world I say... simply amazing. We follow up with a small plate, a thinly-sliced, lightly seared tuna steak topped with ginger, green onions and slight soy sauce. Our main dishes were salt and pepper shrimp with piquant and some amazing ma-po-tofu accompanied with white rice. Portions were hearty but we still had room for dessert.: A sliced mango poached in it's own juice and a tapioca pudding with taro root ice cream. All this comes at a cost inclusive of tea, bottle of Evian water, and one non-alcoholic drink: $3XX. Yes, you read correctly.

We ordered sizzling shrimp with veggies entree which was amazing. The fried rice was just ok since I've had better. But the entree dishes are a must to try. The dining area is comfortable with many authentic art pieces from Asia. The restaurant's owners told us they came to Paris 40 plus years ago and their dream was to open an Asian restaurant in the city of Paris. It's super inspirational they came, learned French and made it happen. Side Note- Most restaurants in Paris close between lunch and dinner time. While sightseeing we missed lunch time, and this was one of few Asian restaurants open at this time. Walking distance from Avenue des Champs Elysées. ~

Rabia J was craving Asian food and we ended up walking to this restaurant from our hotel, took approximately 10 minutes. As we got there around 5pm we weren't sure if they would be open but they already had a few tables seated. This particular restaurant doesn't take credit cards so please take cash as you would be cleaning dishes the rest of the evening and that is not how you envision your trip to Paris. We ordered the shrimp dim sum along with a sizzling shrimp with veggies dish and veggie fried rice. The food had awesome authentic Chinese taste and smelled and tasted great. The restaurant is run by owners who came to Paris 45 years. 5 star for food and service.

Best Chinese food ever…read more We were lucky that we met a nice lady at Tang Freres who brought us over here. She described it a being "the best." And, it is!! Seating is cramped and we were seated by the door, making it very cold as people came in and out. Luckily, there's seating upstairs as well. A lot of people come, many of them locals, which is a testament to how authentic the food here tastes. They also use ALOT of oil so this place isn't for the healthy. Seriously there is a pond of oil at the bottom of every dish when you're done. But the oil is what makes the dishes so so good. Food: +fatty pork with preserved vegetables: pork is perfectly cooked and does not fall apart when taking it out. +chicken: fresh and comes with a lot of dark meat +eggplant in a clay pot: great +tong sum choi: great The white rice is also aromatic. Sorry for the lack of description, it just tastes so damn authentic! The server said a lot of people come to eat their wonton noodle soup but we were sadly too full to try it. We wanted to go back today (our last day in Paris, and we're only here for 3 days) but they were closed :( If I ever come back to Paris, I'll go straight here.

J'ai été encore plus surpris lorsque le serveur a placé du sel et du poivre sur la table avant la soupe wonton aux langoustines. Je pense que cela change le style du chef. Mais je devrai y retourner bientôt. / I stopped in for a quick lunch and was seated in one of probably six different dining rooms, all with extensive decor. The servers were quick and efficient. It was unfortunate that all the servers, except the sommelier, were required to wear name tags. The roasted duck was very good. I found the Dim Sum menu was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but each taste was very good. And I was further surprised when the server placed salt and pepper on the table prior to the langoustine wonton soup. I believe that doing so changes the chef's design. But I will have to return soon. 2025 03 27. M1.

They have an English menu and a very lovely server that spoke English. Here's what we had: -Fried shrimps and egg roll with sweet dipping sauce - very good and very similar to what I'm used to in L.A. -Noodles with shrimp - tasty and they had sambal oelek to drench it with. -Cantonese fried rice - probably my favorite. The rice was cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. -Imperial shrimps - a lot of shrimp with onions and a lot of garlic. The shrimp could've been cooked a little more but good nonetheless We had jasmine tea that was delicious. I would really recommend anyone staying in the area to try this place is you are craving Chinese food. It really hits the spot.

Dim Sum in Paris. Shoot why not?…read more Reviews were great. My husband loves dim sum. So we figured let's go get some. For us, it was A-OK. Probably tasted better to us because we were tired of pizza, sandwiches, etc. loved that they have an all you can eat option. they have a set menu for their all you can eat. once they bring out their set menu items you're allowed to inform them of which items you'll like to eat more of. why i loved that they have an all you can eat option? the price for it was pretty reasonable compared to everything else we've been eating in europe. it gave us the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. did it taste like dim sum in LA? unfortunately not. nothing was super memorable to me and once i tried each item i didn't really wanna reorder anything. the XLB had no juice inside of it. which i totally was disappointed about. esp when XLB is known to be good because it is juicy. service was pretty good. food came out really quick. you'll leave smelling like deep fried food since they make some of the food right in front of the window. overall, if you want to get more bang for your buck and wanna have some asian food then i would say try it out. if not it's definitely passable. tips: *accepts credit cards and cash *restrooms are available. *staff speaks english, french, and chinese. *street parking *serves alcohol. *takes reservation. *no wifi. *ask for tap water to save $ *within walking distance to the metro.
