However, I have been desperate since Joann's shut down and Michael's doesn't have the same yarn selection. Finally I found some baby safe yarn for my next crochet project. There was only an aisle and a half, so I'm disappointed the selection was small. For fabrics, they do have a lot of good apparel textiles. I was able to find the perfect materials to make Kpop Demon Hunters Halloween costumes, plus put together Miras weapon. When I was in store they had sales on yarn and fabric, I found everything reasonably priced. My big complaint though is there only being two cashiers when lines are backed up. If the company is not going to use barcodes because of the ceo's extreme views (religious psychosis), then they should have more cashiers. Thank the universe they opened another line when a customer had 3 shopping carts full of merchandise, but it has always taken way too long whenever I visited.

I pulled up out front and walked inside and was greeted almost immediately. I explained to the woman what I had And she had me pull around to the side of the building to make the donation. Everything went very smoothly and I was very happy with the experience. While I was inside the store I did see that they had a lot of merchandise for sale with some of it being brand new while other was clearly used. This place was small and had a bunch of things but not things that I could use. I'm not knocking it by any means! This place helps out many people who are in need of basics. I was just on a hunt for possible flooring and doors. (I had heard from friends that they found windows, doors and flooring left over from new builds. I just don't think they are at this location.) They do have doors, but as it was just me shopping, it was hard to mull through them in the warehouse as they were stacked and my back is roughed up from a wreck I was in a year ago. It was also pretty dark in that area and the floor was plywood and I just wanted to be careful where I was walking. They do have furniture, etc., and again, if you are in need, this place can help you out. If you are looking for more homebuilding or newer items (possible left over from recent construction), this probably isn't the restore you are thinking of. Either way, Habitat is a wonderful organization and I'll try another location as its a win-win for all involved.

Our instructor Sid was great, they were very helpful and attentive. We were able to make two small bowls and paint them after they dried. I am only leaving a review…read morebecause, for over a month, I have tried to resolve these concerns directly by emailing the shop and owner, calling, and even visiting in person, but I have consistently been dismissed without any resolution. I had been looking forward to attending this class for over a year and chose to celebrate my birthday here with friends and family. We were all very excited, which made the experience even more disappointing. The class started an hour later than scheduled, despite the website stating that participants cannot join if they are more than five minutes late. There was little to no explanation for the delay. Once the class began, it felt rushed, likely due to the late start. When I asked for help, staff often stepped in and fixed things themselves rather than showing me how to do it, which defeated the purpose of creating my own pottery. I also asked questions about air bubbles in the clay and the firing process but was not acknowledged. This was especially concerning, as I later discovered that my bowl cracked during firing--something I was specifically worried about. Additionally, the glazing and firing processes were not explained at all. When we moved on to painting, we were left to figure things out on our own without guidance. The class is advertised as making a bowl, but the final product was much closer to a small trinket dish, which was another letdown. On top of everything else, they lost my pottery when I called to check up on it and it had to be found. Given that we spent several hundred dollars, I expected a much higher level of instruction, organization, and communication. The overall experience, combined with the complete lack of response to my attempts to address these concerns, has left me deeply disappointed and regretful that I chose this studio.
