Sam has been running this business for over 30 years and I can say he puts his heart and soul into Lily Nails, he works from dawn till dusk, 6 days a week, nearly 365 days a year. I have come here many times and I have gone to many different nail salons across different states. This one is my favorite by far. When you get a pedicure, you also get an amazing foot and calf massage. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Never had to wait long. If you like beer, they serve beer while you get a pedicure. For Christmas, they painted one nail on each hand candy cane. I loved it. read more

I made an appointment specifically with Sam. I arrived for my appointment was told that Sam was eating lunch and would be right there. Shortly after I arrived two people came in wanting pedicures.. They were waited on immediately. When the technician came over, I asked him if he was Sam. He lied and said he was , but then Sam, who was working on one of the two people that just walked in, spoke up and said who he was. I told him I had an appointment with him to which he said, "I'm sorry, I don't make my schedule." I'm not sure if the other technician would've done a good job, but at that point I was not happy. This is by far the worst nail place I've ever been. If I could give no stars I would. The guy that approached us (Sam) was rude to begin with. My sister asked if he had something to drink. He said they had wine. I told him red wine. He brought me a shot glass of wine. Then he told me to sit down. I had acrylic powder on my nails. Instead of soaking he used the electric file and filed away even on my natural nail bed. He asked if I picked a color. I showed him a pic and asked did they have that color and he said "don't show me that" I cannot believe how rude I was treated. I literally wanted to cry. This has been my go-to spot for nails and pedicures, and the actual services are not the reason for my 1 star rating today. For the past 3 appointments, I have had to wait AT LEAST 30 min past my appointment time for services. Today, I was exactly on time, and watched as 2 ladies without appts were taken before me. Yes, I said I had an appt at this time, but was told '1 minute, please'. After sitting for 31 min, I stood up to leave, was asked if I had an appt by same person who previously told me '1 min please' ??? I said yes, I told you I had an appt 30 min ago. Sam then looks up and tells me he had called me back earlier to ask me to come at a later time. I said I had gotten no call, and he kept arguing with me in front of the entire salon. Aggravated and embarrassed, I left. I verified no calls were received on my phone, and I know my appt time was correct as I had made it earlier the same day based on other appts I had, and had written it down, too. Had this not been the third time, I would think this was just a busy Saturday, but this really soured me on the salon. Bottom line: appts here are just suggestions/place holders for that da; if you're on a time constraint, this may not be the place to go. read more

After decades of going there it seems that the customer service only declines. The owner is completely apathetic and dealing with his clients. When a friend had a problem with her nail he didn't even want to take the time to discuss options with her. When our favorite manicurist left, he let us book an appointment for her knowing she was gone. We arrived and had to settle with someone else. Most of of the employees don't "understand" ( or pretend to ) speak English. Many don't make conversation at all. read more

I get my nails done (dip) every week or at least every other week. This was my first time at this salon as I stopped in for the convenience of the location. Kind people however my nail tech did not remove my previous dip polish completely and it shows through the new polish. My cuticles still have remnants of my previous nail polish as well. She applied the new polish and I had to stop her before applying the top coat as she did not smooth my nails down (as you have to do after applying dip prior to applying the top coat). I had very visible gouges and rough spots in my nails that I had to have her go back and smooth. Even after having her file more, the tips of my nails are all rough. How do you not see that?! Horrible quality for $40. Will not be returning. read more

I have been going to lily nails for almost 6 years now for my acrylic nails/fills. I always see Sam, the owner, for my nails and he always does an absolutely fantastic job, at a reasonable price. However, my cousin and I recently got a pedicure here, and I am slightly disgusted by the service for pedicures. The lady used THE SAME cotton ball to remove both me and my cousin's toe nail polish. Do they do this with everyone?! Thank heavens she is family, but my god, that is still disgusting! As for the pumice block, which they use to remove dead skin from the bottom of your feet, they used the same one on my feet and then my cousins feet, without washing it! I can only hope that they sanatize that... the worse part is that the lady scrubbed my feet so hard with it, that she cut my foot! I immediately disinfected my foot and put neosporin on the cut, because they didn't sanatize the pumice block, so there's millions of germs on that thing that she just cut me with! She painted my toe nails, and I am so thankful that I noticed my two big toes looked like a 5 year old had painted them! When I asked her to remove the polish and fix them, she was of course annoyed! I left with polish on my skin around my toenails and the crappiest pedicure I have ever reveived. The best part of this whole thing is, they charged $38! I wouldn't want to imagine how much it would've been for French tip or a design as well! I would not recommend this place for pedicures to anyone. It was a major germ-riddled rip off!! I turned up around 0940. I was willing to wait so that wasn't an issue for me. I had the gentleman who runs the place remove my toenail polish in a hurry and clip and file my nails. There was still leftover polish from the previous nail polish. I was passed along to someone else and he sped to go and see to a regular and do her nails. The lady that was doing my toes barely understood me, and I sat there but correcting a lot of her actions. I felt a little sorry for her because she was left with nails that had not had a proper pre polish clean up. The lady that did my hand nail gel polish was great. so, I've been to this salon once before today and that time was perfect! I got a full set of acrylics and it only cost me $30. Today I went and got gel/acrylic and a pedicure. It cost me $90. This service SHOULD NOT have cost $90. $60 maybe but I would NEVER pay that much for my nails. It also irked me how the manager didnt even tell me my total before swiping my card. Wonderful atmosphere. The pedicures are a higher price but worth it for over an hour. They massage and spend time doing reflexology. Offer water and wine. The owners are very nice. Plus you get a neck massage with your feet. When you get the your nails done you get a neck message and hand massage. Absolutely love it. read more

I was in town from Atlanta, visiting my family for my brother's wedding and popped in here the day before the ceremony. I had an appointment, and good thing because it was super packed. Problems started right away and include, but are not limited to: -extremely poor color selection. Honestly the least amount of options from any salon I've ever been to. I should have brought my own colors. -the jets on my tub were broken -the tech started on my mani, but completely skipped the lotion/massage/hand/skin treatment I've had on literally every other manicure my entire life. Went straight into shaping my nails and painting them. -manicure didn't look great. the cuticles were terrible (raw and bleeding for a day or two following too). paint didn't go all the way to the cuticle, so they looked grown out within just a few days -the pedicure has stayed on great (positive) but the pedicure process again was horrible. she did do an extremely intense leg massage, so intense I had to stop her and ended up with one massive bruise the next day. -It took WAY too long. I was there for 1hr 45 min and I didn't even stay to dry my toes cause I was in a hurry -I felt like $55 was really steep for a basic mani/pedi, especially when she didn't even do any type of hand treatment that I feel is standard. And don't forget there's an extra $2fee for using a credit card. In short, I should have listened to my mom and gone to the place she recommended in Niceville. I was trying to save time by staying in Bluewater, but I'll never visit this place again. read more

Aside from offering my wife a great nail/pedicure service and being able to get her in quickly, they offer excellent men's haircuts. The owner is very people oriented and makes us feel taken care of. Worst park was finding a parking spot due to the small parking lot, but that is not really bad. Will return again. read more

She was gentle and meticulous. My nails and cuticles have never looked healthier and she was very knowledgeable in telling me how to care for them in the future and what to avoid. Can't just walk in and get good service. Apparently you need an appointment to have one person do your manicure, other wise you have three different people taking turns while waiting 15 minutes in between. Also the pedicure was SCARY! Not only do they use the same nail file on every one but He took, what looked like, a cheese grader to my feet! I tried to tell him to skip that step but he continued to scrape at my feet. Then he proceeded to wash it off in my pedicure water and stuck it back in his drawer with out sanitizing it. Does that mean he did the same for the person ahead of me?? GROSS! Some might say this is all normal, but I am a stylist and nail tech and I use a new nail file, new buffer, NEVER use a CHEESE GRADER and the Callus scrubbers are all sanitized after EVERY use! I can tell you that nail salon is not sanitary, and possibly not to code! read more
