I cannot praise Lily Rose Photography enough. We were on a tight budget, and I only had a set amount to spend on a photographer. With that in mind, I chose the two things I absolutely needed photographed during the day. I knew I wouldn't get a whole package for my budget amount and was willing to work with a photographer to have the day captured and stay within my budget. I contacted five photography vendors given to me by the venue. I explained my situation to all five, made my requests and gave my budget. One didn't even bother to contact me back. Two of them contacted me back and I could feel the snobbery and rudeness in the response - along the lines of (scoffing) "we won't do anything for that small of a budget". One was a bit nicer in their declining of accommodating my modest budget, telling me that if I found more money in my budget to get back to them. Then I heard from Lily Rose. Debbie was friendly, understanding, accommodating, and really collaborated with me and my budget to get me everything I was looking for. Communication throughout was easy and responses were prompt. The day of the wedding the two photographers showed up early and began photographing. Ashley and Mia were like members of my family. They had the list I had provided of the groups to be photographed. They had memorized the names of the wedding party and immediate family members I had listed on the questionnaire. They introduced themselves to everyone and immediately put names with faces. Them knowing the names and putting them with faces made it so much easier and efficient when taking the photos. It felt like family members were taking our photos, not some strange, random people. Ashley and Mia were professional, friendly, and thorough without wasting time. I never felt rushed, yet all of the requested groups got photographed in under the budgeted time. Mia kept asking me if there was anything else she could do for me, and they stayed past the allotted time. It was smooth, easy, and FUN! When we received the gallery within days (much sooner than promised) there were over 1,000 photos there. When I was looking through them, I saw photos I didn't even know I wanted, but was glad I had! They really did a magnificent job of documenting the day, the venue, and the guests. I feel like I got more than what I paid for. These guys are amazing! We had kind of a crazy day planned with a lot of changes in our initial schedule and Debbie and Larry were super flexible and were even using bluetooth earpieces to communicate/coordinate photo ops as different attendees were getting ready/prepping our tech for the virtual aspect of the wedding. They both wore their masks properly the entire time they were there and maintained distance whenever appropriate! We so so appreciate that! As a heads up, Debbie is very direct with her instructions for posing before photos, it took me off guard at first, but I actually really loved this after a few photos! By being so direct she was better able to get me into a flattering pose quickly, we were able to get more shots in less time. Debbie and her husband Labrot did an amazing job capturing every happy moment from my sister's wedding last month. Normally Debbie brings an assistant, but she happened to bring her husband Labrot (recently married too!) this time and we were really lucky to have him. According to my sister, Labrot has his own photography business and is more expensive and better than Debbie. He specializes only in weddings, whereas Debbie takes pictures of anything. They were with us almost the entire day, 9am to 8pm with a couple hours break in the afternoon.They were both really nice, patient, and obviously, really good at what they do. My uncle who really enjoys taking pictures but just isn't that good kept asking them questions and they didn't mind giving him tips and pointers even tho they were busy. It hasn't been that long since the wedding so we haven't seen the pictures yet. But I'm sure they're really beautiful and I can't wait! Lily Rose deserves 10 stars! Hiring them to be our wedding photographer was the best decision I've made for the wedding. They are impeccable with their professionalism and patience. Took thousands of breathtaking photos, it's hard to decide which to print because they're all great. They made everyone feel at ease even if we don't know how to pose for photos and good amount of family members doesn't speak English. Also their little touches such has giving us print outs of some photos at the end of the wedding night and the digital images came in a beautiful box with selected fine art prints. Oh we received all proofs within 2 weeks of the wedding and received all digital files within 3 weeks of wedding. They are wonderful beyond words. I wanted to hire a good photographer for our wedding but we ended up hiring The Best photographer I can ever ask for. There isn't time to write out all of the amazing feedback I'd like to leave. I'd be writing for days! To start, Debbie and Larry were on time (actually early!), professional and autonomous. They were comfortable coming in and immediately getting started with pictures I didn't even know I wanted. Next, they organized and led our first look and hundreds of family pictures in the most casual, yet instructive manner. For the entire evening, they were present, but did their own thing which took a lot of pressure off of me. I could tell they were getting some amazing shots, but little did I know, they were going to print me off about 40 before they left on Polaroid paper so I could get a glimpse into the images! That really made it feel tangible that night and was such a fun surprise. Debbie emailed me a link to our pictures within 2 weeks and the they are AMAZING! It's so apparent how talented she and husband are. Last little detail I have to mention is that she sends you a flash drive with all of your pictures on it! I think it makes for such a nice touch and feels even more real. I've heard of lots of photographers that want you to download digital images or something and it doesn't feel as special. read more

Even the photos taken in the low light of our indoor reception turned out flawlessly. Not only do we have gorgeous mementos of our wedding day, but working with Debbie was an absolute pleasure. During a meeting before the wedding, she noted that our preliminary timeline might be tight, and suggested taking some portraits and wedding party photos at our "getting ready" location since we couldn't go to the venue until a certain time. Debbie and Rob were absolutely amazing when they worked our wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico. At a time when everyone was stressed out, these two were abundantly cool and professional. (My wife and I were NOT thrilled with the options available locally in Cabo so we looked around and "interviewed" people we found that had the right eye and a photo-journalistic approach to wedding photography. It was by chance that Lily Rose was at a wedding convention in San Francisco we attended.) After choosing Lily Rose, we got a package that included an engagement photo session and this was where we really saw how focused Debbie is while on the job. She huffed along with our dog in tow and never complained - a minor miracle considering our dog's temperament... But this was the first sign of the good things to come. Debbie and her team of two other photographers worked my wedding like there was no tomorrow. Although we were contracted to have two photographers, having a third shooter was great. I barely noticed them taking pictures and we walked away with over 1,600 pictures from our wedding. The pictures were on her website 1.5 weeks after the wedding, the cd of proof images were in the mailbox about 1.5 months after the wedding. Debbie and her office manager Sheila are amazing. Where should I begin? Debbie is amazing to work with and I highly recommend her! She is by far the BEST vendor I used for my wedding by far. She exceeded my expectations in every way! She was nice, honest, easy going, willing to travel for not just the wedding but also the engagement shoot, reasonably priced for what you get, on time, timely in getting photos to me, made sure I had sneak peaks within a day or two and actually cared! I met her at a bridal show and scheduled a meeting with her, my mom, fiance and myself. It was an instant click and a no brainer. We got stuck in traffic and were almost 30 minutes late to our hour long engagement shoot in Napa but Debbie was understanding and made it work. A day or two later, I had a sneak peek and then within 2 weeks the photos were online for us to build my engagement album which we choose to make into a guest book album. About two weeks later, we had our album already. The photos were amazing! At our wedding almost every guest made a comment on how beautiful and unique our guest book was. She did little things that made this experience special for us like sending us a note with a little surprise to help to prepare us for our big day and a call the week before the wedding where she was thinking of coming into town a day earlier (she past Sacramento and we are near San Francisco) and offered to photograph our rehearsal dinner if it was on that Friday and she was here. It was Thursday so that didn't work but then she said that if she came a day early and I needed help with wrapping my favors, she would help with that too! Not even my bridal party offered that! Day of the wedding, she brought Lindsey as our second shooter. Lindsey was with the guys for their getting ready photos and they are all still talking about how awesome Lindsey was. Both Lindsey and Debbie complimented each other so well and we all felt at ease and comfortable with them both! They took what must have been a million photos and it was almost like they weren't there most of the time. They did the formal photos and then stepped back and let the day happen. I am getting all of the photos later this week but the few they showed me at the wedding and the sneak preview I got a few days after are amazing! I even made one my yelp profile pic! 5 stars isn't nearly enough for Lily Rose Photography! Debbie and Larry are seriously artists and their photos look like they're straight out of a magazine. They just shot our wedding last weekend and we already saw remarkable pictures that they printed out for us on Polaroid film to take with of us on the night of the wedding. Talk about thoughtful and immediate gratification! We are so excited to see the rest, but from what we have seen so far we know they will be excellent. On top of being truly professional and an amazing team, they really think of everything. With our wedding package, they had a free engagement session to teach you how to pose with your significant other and we found this time super useful for the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding they were a well oiled machine, and flexible to adding spontaneous ideas to our planned shot list as we came up with them. One of the coolest things I've seen so far is what they were able to do with our cake. The cake we ordered had a symbol on the back and front and a cake topper that could only be read in one direction. However the cake was put together backwards by the bakery. Debbie somehow was able to take shots of both sides and put together a picture of the cake as it should have been! Wow, just wow! We are SO happy we choose Lily Rose for our special day and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They are absolutely worth every penny! read more

Typically, I only write good reviews, but I needed to write this one to share my experience. I've waited a while to cool down after having a poor experience. I read and heard many good things about Debbie and her team and was really looking forward to working with them on our wedding day. Debbie was a great communicator and I thought we really hit it off. My wedding was a Saturday afternoon and Debbie told me either Thursday or Friday that it would not be her shooting our big day. Instead, it was her husband and an assistant. I was a little let down, but had bigger fish to fry that close to my wedding day. I trusted that she would send only the best. I was wrong. As soon as her husband arrived at my home he was unpleasant and rather bossy. He was pushy and awful to the assistant who could not have been nicer to us. We ignored his demeanor throughout the formals at the church but at the reception site, he dictated when we could drink champagne and who we could talk to. The last straw for me was when the assistant had an idea and he turned and snapped at him like he was dirt. When we finally got our photos, I was horribly disappointed. Others said they turned out well but for the experience and the lack of editing (his own shadows were in multiple shots) and we did not receive all of the images taken. Overall, we found a few shots we liked, but we were really let down by the experience. read more

It isn't until you've paid your money that you are able to meet with a photographer. We really appareciated our first meeting being with Debbie, a professional photographer that would actually be shooting us the day of our wedding. Communicating with Bella we had 5 different sales people contacting us and automated generated replies sent via email that had nothing to do with our questions or correspondence.
