I came into Boudoir by Olin feeling very emotional and in a hard place with family stuff going on, despising where I was at in physical from. I have been wanting to do something like this for ages- but I always told myself it would have to wait until I made it to my goal weight. Before I even made it to the studio I was given plenty of reading material via e-mail to get me prepared for the big day- I had set up to be a plus-size model in the studio to get outside of my comfort zone and reconnect with myself. I was still a goo 20 lbs from the goal weight I was trying to achieve (though 50 lbs is still a good # when doing it the hard way) Olin greeted me and made me feel beyond comfortable and human again before I made it to make up! We talked bout the emotional things I had going on, which Olin was very understanding and shared some of her experiences that made me feel that much more comfortable MAKE UP: was included with the modeling. Jacqueline I think was the name of the make up artist and she gave me a nice nude smoke look something natural with subtle eyelashes which was outside of my dramatic make up look which is norm. HAIR: I came with my hair done, and did it in my bathroom PHOTOGRAPHER MEET: Olin explained that she was not going to be performing my photos but Emily would be to expander her portfolio. Emily came in, also going through a rough time and we were easily connected from the get. Emily asked me questions about my personal style an personality as to achieve this in the photos. OUTFITS: I arrived with a few articles for use including some props from home. I was not the most confident in my options, Emily took me to the closet in the studio where we collectively found a selection of outfits. I was surprised with each one and how comfortable I was in them, and even more so as the photos went on THE SHOOT ITSELF: With multiple costume changes, positions and sets (all in the same room)- we started off with working on a few things that were common for the shoot: "pop that booty" and "toes pointed" to name a few. Emily was great with her approach and especially in reading when I may have felt uncomfortable she would continue with positive reinforcement which you can tell was sincere. By the end of it I was feeling comfortable and so happy that I finally made the plunge and did these photos regardless of the size and not being at my goal weight. THE REVEAL: Before I left I got to schedule my reveal date to see all the photos. I signed allowing them to share the sneak peeks and use my photos. I scheduled for 8/11/2022 and cannot wait to see the end result. At that time I can purchase if I would like PURCHASING: they do offer a payment plan SNEAK PEEK: I saw the first sneak peek via instagram and fell in love immediately. Something I was going to wait to share with my love interest I sent him the screenshot immediately and he loved it. I finally admitted to doing the shoot to him. The second one was posted in the private group on FB- wholly hotness I was impressed. It was like all the insecurities I had about my body were seen in a different light. Boudoir shoot! I've been wanting to do one for some time now. I figured to go for it for my birthday this year. There was a special going on so I took advantage of that! Since it was my first time ever, I didn't know what to expect. First off, I received a call from Caitlyn. She was really sweet and nice. She answered all my questions and I scheduled my session. The day of my session. Caroline greeted me at the door. She was really warm and welcoming. My session included full makeup and hair. My hair and makeup artist was Mia. Mia was super sweet, easy and fun to talk to. She made sure I'm well taken care of. I trusted her expertise and she didn't disappoint! At the end, I could barely recognize myself. My face was flawless and hair was perfect. She did such an awesome job. After my hair and makeup were done, Caroline came in and off we went. She looked through all the outfits I brought with me. She gave a lot of advices and suggestions. I brought in multiple colors and styles. It's a good idea so that there are more options and then she can let you know what fits you will. Luckily the outfits I brought, they fit me well. I had babydoll, bodysuit, bodycon, simple lace bra and panty with plaid shirt. After going through the outfits, the shooting begins! Caroline is a total professional. She guided, me and taught me how to do every single poses! It was a total workout! There were a little cramping during the shoot but no biggie. She made sure I was comfortable and had a great time. Since it was my first time ever, I was super nervous. I trusted Caroline just like all the other girls and I had no more fear. The shoot lasted for around 1 hour or so. It was such an amazing experience. Caroline, Caitlyn and Mia were all wonderful. Definitely at least once in a lifetime experience. I can say that I'm loving my body even more! No issues with parking. They do have ample parking spots in front of their building. Not ONCE, but TWICE the pleasure. I honestly thought I wrote this already, but it seems as if I haven't. So here it goes. Boudoir is not something I've ever really felt the need for. I associate it with a wedding present for my future husband, or any present for him, for that matter. It wasn't until recently, where I decided I would do it for myself. No one else, but the bonus would be that my husband would have them for himself one day. So win, win! I've done it twice now, within the span of six months. Seems extreme, but when the opportunity presented itself, I went with it. I've followed Olin on IG for a while now, but I didn't notice she did boudoir. When I realized she did, I followed that page too. I actually reached out to her and asked about pricing and options, but it was out of my budget to do 'for fun.' However, she posted a Valentine's Day special that I couldn't pass up. The organization and the pre-shot process is really efficient with this group! Seriously, I was really impressed with the emails, the survey, and how informative they were for the shoot. They provide tips, they share pricing, they send reminders. Every step of the process was so easy and made for you to feel comfortable. Because boudoir is anything but that. The day of the shoot, I was anxious. But it easily melted away as I chatted with Donn and then met with Olin. Olin and I looked over outfit and shoe choices and she gave me her recommendations, which I totally appreciated because she does this for a living. Oh my gosh, do some yoga before you come to your session. You will be bending and moving like crazy. In positions, you don't normally contort your body, especially your spine. There was NOT one moment when I didn't trust the process or Olin. I was sweating from all the different poses and the anxiety, but you couldn't tell in any of the final photos! This investment is expensive. The reveal session is fun, but again, I was a little anxious to see the final products. Donna scheduled and greeted me when I arrived, just like before. She walked me to the room we started in before and had the picture wall loaded and the TV ready to watch the entire slideshow of images. I don't want to ruin the experience by telling you step-by-step, but it is relaxing and enjoyable. Just remember to keep your mouth closed when you look at the price list again. I have to keep reminding myself this is an investment and the feeling of taking and seeing these photos is irreplaceable. I decided to indulge and order all of my prints, but thankfully they do offer a payment plan. Since these weren't going to anyone, I opted for that. I really liked that you could also view your images in a gallery and they encourage you to share with whomever you'd like. Also, you can ask for specific edits to be made to whichever photos you want. Also, Olin doesn't photoshop them too much, because she wants you to come through -- which is something I really appreciated. The last thing you want is photos that don't even look like you in such a vulnerable state. I liked it so much, I did it again. The entire process...even the purchase! I honestly can't put into words how amazing and empowering a boudoir session truly is. Many women are intimated or just don't want too, but i promise if you decide to do one, you'll finally see how great they are for your confidence. Who knew taking semi-nude photos would elicit empowerment and strength. But Olin does and does it damn well! I cannot recommend her enough. Her studio is legit, although it is in a somewhat sketchy area. But they have so much property and great lighting for the boudoir photos. She recently added more props and wall colors, which made my second set of photos even prettier than the first set. Working with Olin on my boudoir shoot was incredible. The experience of a lifetime. From beginning to end, everything was so professional and she put me at ease. She told me exactly which poses to do so I didn't have to worry and she encouraged me throughout the process. I felt like a superstar. We shot at a beautiful location too and I got to do five different looks. My pictures came out amazing. I'm obsessed and will treasure them forever. I did the glitter package + the app so that I got a photo album and hi-res digitals of my favorites but also have access to 100 photos I shot on the app (it's just not technically downloadable). In all, I probably spent like $3000 (photo shoot $250 + $2700 photo package + tax) which did cause a bit of sticker shock. But I considered this a one in a lifetime gift to myself (and my partner) to capture what my body looks like at this point in my life and celebrate my sexuality. Can't put a price on that. Also that includes makeup services and access to her lingerie closet. I recommend Olin 100%. I will wholeheartedly recommend her to friends. I always told myself that I would get into shape first before ever doing something like this but then I realized that there is no wrong or right time for this kind of photography. It's more about how comfortable you are in your individual skin, and Caroline works wonders in this area. She does the exact opposite of shaming your body in the areas you may be embarrassed about and teaches you to embrace those curves. She works with you on turning what you feel may be flaws into beautiful and confident poses. Olin is absolutely amazing at her craft! I cannot emphasize enough how empowered I felt after my boudoir session with her. I was coming an hour away from the location and I was stressed making sure I was at the right entrance to the building. I was reassured and welcomed by Brooke. She was so kind and helped ease my anxiety. She showed me around the studio and I was absolutely in awe over how gorgeous the interior design was. My makeup was included with the session and I felt absolutely stunning. I never wear any makeup and felt like a renewed woman after getting my makeup professionally done. What I highly recommend is to bring your own false lashes if you like more dramatic eye look, but other than that I wish I could take classes from the amazing girl that done my makeup! After I got my makeup professionally done, I was escorted to the studio where Brooke initially showed me and then I got to meet the legend in person, Olin! She is such a beautiful soul. She is an amazing hype woman through the whole session. How she made me feel really mattered in the end. She made me realize of how much of a beauty I really was. She explained the poses I was going to do in such a easy manner by demonstrating. She was really easy to follow the poses after. I'm so excited to see my photos revealed in the next two weeks. I definitely recommend going to her if there is anyone that feels on edge about setting up an appointment with her. I personally thought I wasn't fit enough to do these types of shoots and needed to do an intensive bootcamp to lose weight rapidly, however, Olin knows exactly how to pose you to make you look like a playboy model. I always said I would never do a boudoir shoot, especially as a first time mom who hasn't completely bounced back to her old figure...but then I met Caroline! She completely showed me how a boudoir session could absolutely be classy, comfortable, and even fun (we played cheesy 90's love songs during our shoot and ate In-n-Out fries!).
