Exceeds healthcare expectations…read more My family was referred here after seeing a number of specialists within the Triad area. We have been patients with Sandhills Orthotics and Prosthetics for nearly 3 months now and the doctors and staff have been some of the most attentive and charismatic healthcare professionals i have met in the past few years. Our doctor meets with us for adjustments as often as needed and ensures that our equipment is functioning on an optimal level. They have even been so kind as to open their personal phones to us during all hours if needed for advice and quick assistance with any question we may have. Beyond the care, i am very satisfied with our results and will continue with care into the following month. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends for personalized care.

His foot was getting worse and was quite painful to walk on. My dad is a physician in SC and called around asking where he might be able to get a boot to help him, and someone recommended Sandhills. The only problem was it was a Saturday and they were closed until the following Monday. Somehow my dad got in touch with the owner Mr. O'Reilly and he offered to go to the store, pick up the orthopedic boot, and drop it off at my fiance's hotel. To top it off-- he would not accept any payment. It is the kindness of strangers sometimes that keeps the world going. We highly recommend Sandhills Orthotics and we wish them the best with their business! Thank you so much-- above and beyond!!

The Triangle Orthopedic is as good as it gets…read more I have been going about 6-8 years and they have always been there to help me in an unexpected situation with kind and beautiful service and durning scheduled appointments I feel loved and cared for. With Dr. Belhorn, in Durham and Chapel Hill and she returned my texted message immediately, when I was to sick to get in the car and drive. Abe McCoy with excellent care for a broken ankle and bone spur on the other foot...( all in last 6 months. ) He is in Durham/Chapel Hill with Urgent care. They have all the x-Ray machines, etc, right on premise, so no going to another for X-Rays. Patricia T.

I was referred to EmergoOrtho by a fill-in PCP due to a herniated disc compressing nerve roots. I already had an MRI before the appointment but was never told I needed to bring the images. When I arrived, they said they could access them. I paid a $50 copay, only to be told I needed another X-ray. The doctor came in for barely two minutes, said a steroid shot would be faster than a pack, then immediately left. I was told it needed to be scheduled and would take about a week. Meanwhile, I was told to just take Tramadol and do PT. No one followed up. I had to call them. Eventually, they set the appointment for August 5 -- nearly two weeks after my first visit. I took time off work, and had my wife do the same to drive me. But on August 4 at 3:30 PM, I got a call from Ruby saying they needed the MRI images. I asked why, since they claimed to have them last time and even did a new X-ray. She said she'd check. 20 minutes later, she called back and said they couldn't get the images from radiology and would have to cancel my appointment. Cancel -- after all that pain, waiting, time off, and insurance approval. I asked why the appointment was canceled when it was scheduled for the next day and I had done everything on my end. She was completely indifferent. I personally called the radiology provider and got through right away. They sent the images and I also drove to pick up a CD copy just in case. I called EmergoOrtho back immediately asking not to cancel my appointment. I was told Ruby was the only one who could help me. The woman said she'd have Ruby call me back that day. It's now 8:30 PM and still no call. Let me be clear -- I am a disabled veteran, in constant pain, with numb, burning fingers, unable to sleep or function properly. I served this country, and this is the level of care and compassion I get? You all should be ashamed. You clearly do not care about patients -- only copays and procedures. You dragged me through weeks of appointments, calls, and chaos, only to leave me in pain and cancel without cause. This will be the last orthopedic group I ever deal with. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. You failed me. You failed your duty. Close the doors.
