The rooms are clean and they not only wash hands between patients but they also sanitize with sanitizer. It is a policy of theirs. I had a situation with no masks being used at a facility so I just searched on the internet and found an email / name of the second in charge. I let him know what was happening and this changed the next day (I had another appointment there). I like their policy to be your own advocate so if something in your gut is telling you something speak up! I kept fighting for my pain issues and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That was 18 years ago. I still kept getting pain, and I found out I had a rare immune disorder. My doctor fought for me and I absolutely will always be thankful.

Some patients do not have access to employee plans and rely on Marketplace plans. Baylor Scott and White has decided to make a political based business decision based on recent Medicaid changes, while eliminating individual marketplace plans. For patients, we work to build our medical care teams within the BSW system, only now to be told our continuity of care matters not. Interestingly, the media is the one that has announced the end of these plans, yet the system has yet to inform the plan holders. I am sure that they will further change clinic and hospital insurance policy to not accept outside insurance plans. Sad to see a community care system which sends the message to the community "we want to care for you, but only if you are not on a marketplace plan or Medicaid". I used to be a proud customer/patient/client of Baylor, Scott and White but they have demonstrated a few times now, they care not about patients not Medicaid or marketplace associated.

First, the receptionist at the front desk gave a good first impression. She was smiling when we walked in and was very friendly. And this was an early 7:15am The volunteer that walked us back was sweet. I only have first names with those I interacted with. Once my mom was wheeled back I'm not sure who assisted. Bailey, Robert, and Amanda were so gentle, patient, and seemed like they genuinely cared. They are perfect for their job and I hope they know how much their work is appreciated. I met Dr. Huang briefly and he was nice and informative. My mom has some follow up work but I know she'll be in good hands here.

As we arrived there was one lady at the front doing the check in, she greeted us and started getting information. We were called to go in to be seen by doctor. My daughter was definitely scared, crying and screaming. Nurses and doctor were very calm and started taking her feel safe. Jennifer and Kelsee explained to her what their duties will be and helping her feel at ease. They were very friendly and overall stayed calm during a scary moment for patient and parents. Kaelee came by to take X-rays and hold her hand as she spoke softly to my daughter and also explained the steps she will be taking. My daughter was cold and she brought her a very warm blanket, providing her comfort. Once doctor Sydneer arrived, he as well explained what details, pain, discomfort she might feel along the process. Of course is never easy but they made it as comfortable as any parent will appreciate. Hope to never have another emergency but definitely had a 5 star service. Hoping bill is also as nice as their service.

I'd like to start by saying I've lived in this town for going on 20 years and I've heard a lot of…read morenegative reports about Parkview regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, but I'm here to tell you first ,that my father-in-law was in Parkview and he was treated excellent. my brother-in-law was in Parkview visited both of them and every time I did everybody was as nice as could be no complaints but now I can report a personal experience I had to live in the hospital for three days with cellulitis and I couldn't have been more pleased with the care that I've received. Any number of between eight and 10 different RNs and LVN measured right up to the top of the scale. Both, Megan case manager for Dr. Timothy Alan and Dr. Allen visited daily and examined the charts and gave helpful advice to the staff, and were kind enough to stop in and ask my feelings on what was going on and you don't find that in a lot of places.I think these people that are down on the hospital ought to give it another look of why their experience wasn't the same. I know all situations are different, but nobody could change my opinion!!!

Fix it by having a proper, updated directory of departments and personnel. Every department should have their own phone lines and their own answering/message system. All calls must be returned the same day unless specified otherwise the the patient. Second, in this political climate, don't employ Chinese nationals or dual citizen Chinese in the SURGERY DEPARTMENT! If you can't speak intelligible English, you can't work in a Texas hospital. Shouldn't have to say it, but there it is.
