Prescribed her a generic antibiotic for 10 days and told me to bring her back if it wasn't resolved. I called today, the receptionist told me that this would count as a new evaluation since it had been 10 days. She told me that if I would have had to come in sooner they could have done an evaluation if it hadn't resolved. I argued that she was still on the antibiotic and was told to bring her back after she had finished her course of treatment. The cost of each evaluation is $170. So I would be out of pocket $340, so they can prescribe a new prescription. The healthcare system is so broken! Consider going elsewhere for your medical needs!

The receptionist that checked me in was very kind and helpful. The nurses were nice enough. They didn't provide much correspondence directly to me when voicing my concerns/issues, but they weren't blatantly dismissive either. I saw the doctor once and he looked outright exhausted/checked out. He didn't follow up with me at all before getting discharged; this was delegated to the nurse that was looking over me. Overall, the care wasn't bad. They did labs, X-ray, and general monitoring. Overall, I feel impartial.

I am an RN....and I have also had the pleasure of working at a rural hospital that was a whole lot more hoppin than little Madisonville, so I went into it with open eyes. I got extremely ill on Christmas Day ... yeah ... I know... it sucked, and I went to the hospital with an open mind. There were 4 in front of me, but I was back in a room within an hour and a half and that was with them having a Critical care heart patient that came in via ambulance. The nurses were spot on and absolutely amazing, Even the doctor was able to prioritize and came in to see me several times even after another ambulance came in. The only reason I am giving them a 4 instead of five is because they had to put me into one of their older ER rooms and my brand new sweats I was wearing got a sticky black gunk on them from the older table I sat on that didn't come out. I'd like to start by saying I've lived in this town for going on 20 years and I've heard a lot of…read morenegative reports about Parkview regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, but I'm here to tell you first ,that my father-in-law was in Parkview and he was treated excellent. my brother-in-law was in Parkview visited both of them and every time I did everybody was as nice as could be no complaints but now I can report a personal experience I had to live in the hospital for three days with cellulitis and I couldn't have been more pleased with the care that I've received. Any number of between eight and 10 different RNs and LVN measured right up to the top of the scale. Both, Megan case manager for Dr. Timothy Alan and Dr. Allen visited daily and examined the charts and gave helpful advice to the staff, and were kind enough to stop in and ask my feelings on what was going on and you don't find that in a lot of places.I think these people that are down on the hospital ought to give it another look of why their experience wasn't the same. I know all situations are different, but nobody could change my opinion!!!

She has the worst bedside manner and lowest standard of patient care i have ever seen. Thankfully my family could tell I was unwell and they took me to Baylor where I was admitted.
