THD EMS has well train professional and courteous Staff who keep up to date on the ever so changing field of medicine. They use the latest state of the art equipment and run Frazier ambulances. If you are ever in the area stop by and meet the crews. Also note that THD EMS does not only respond to medical 911 emergencies but also provides pt transfers from the surrounding hospitals to hospitals that can provide a higher level of care. Transfers are accepted on a case by case basis when units are available.

Thank God my mother and cousins took me from that horrible hospital and took me to Baylor! When I arrived they rushed out and I received excellent service. Went in for emergency surgery right away and I am now alive to tell my story! Providence traumatized me and I definitely plan to pursue legal action. I went in with a severe issue all they did was give me fluids and Dr couldn't care less told me to follow up with my Dr next week. with the issue I was having I literally would have died. two days later I ended up needing help I was rapidly getting worse so I went to Baylor Scott ER the Dr was so concerned with my labs actually sat with me talked it through. I got the BEST care and they figured out my issue. Providence ER is just sad and complete waste of time and money. Ive been a few times over the years as I have a weak body, each time they have not helped me at all. Please just go to Baylor Scott and White ER.

The receptionist that checked me in was very kind and helpful. The nurses were nice enough. They didn't provide much correspondence directly to me when voicing my concerns/issues, but they weren't blatantly dismissive either. I saw the doctor once and he looked outright exhausted/checked out. He didn't follow up with me at all before getting discharged; this was delegated to the nurse that was looking over me. Overall, the care wasn't bad. They did labs, X-ray, and general monitoring. Overall, I feel impartial.

If you are unfortunate enough to end up in this ER and get a heavy set white girl with black hair as your nurse RUN!!! She has the worst bedside manner and lowest standard of patient care i have ever seen. Thankfully my family could tell I was unwell and they took me to Baylor where I was admitted.

When I contacted the supervisor and complained. still nothing. I never raised my voice to the lady but felt like she didn't forward my results out of spite. My doc finally contacted the department to obtain my results. What an outfit. Cordial but incompetent
