You end up going here and leaving with an uneven cut, but then again you get what you pay for. Not a big deal as I fix it up at home with whatever is noticeable. Xpress Hair Salon is staffed with 4 individuals, two of which seem to be decent whom everyone lines up for and the other 2, not so good. The problem here is that everyone waits for the 2 good stylists which can be an hour to two hour wait time depending on what day you go. If you can't stand the wait, then going to the other 2 individuals, well then you got some touching up to do when you get home. Now here's the problem. They just increased their rate from 5 dollars to 10 dollars a haircut for males (probably because they originally only had 3 people on staff). If you're going to increase the rate from 5 to 10 bucks at least do a decent job at cutting hair. The market is so competitive now that for 10 bucks and or maybe a few extra dollars I could get a haircut at a different location where I don't need to go home and fix. So I guess at this point, it isn't the worst place in the world, but I'll be looking to go somewhere else. I've gotten my haircut here for the past 6 to 7 times and have always had to go home and fix and also get ridiculed from friends and family that nothing lines up, but hey at the 5 dollar rate I didn't necessarily care.

I have to admit that I am not someone who comes every 10 weeks for a cut and color. I usually wait 13-15 weeks in between cuts, sometimes longer. I know, I'm pretty bad when it comes to my hair! Haha. So in the last year, I've been here a total of 3 times, but every time I come in I really like my hair when I leave! It's very simple and cute inside! They will offer coffee or water while you are getting your hair done as well. There is a tv to watch or music on to keep you entertained. Alexis is very friendly, professional and talented. I'll spare you the novel-length backstory, but let's just say getting a haircut for a tiny human who has suddenly decided that scissors are the enemy is not for the faint of heart. I just wanted my little guy Bodhi to look fresh for his birthday. Instead, I got a full-on meltdown. Bodhi was bawling. Not just crying--the kind of crying where you question all your life choices that led you to this moment. Bryan, one of the barbers there, stepped in and showed more compassion than I've seen in most humans. He calmly talked the other barber through the chaos, and when things got truly dire, he just... picked up my child. Held him like it was no big deal. Didn't flinch at the sobbing, the squirming, or the sheer drama of it all. He just got to work and gave Bodhi a fresh cut like he does this every day (honestly, he probably does). I was sitting there dying of embarrassment, but they handled it with more professionalism than I've seen anywhere, let alone a barbershop. They treated me like family, kept me calm when I was about to crawl under the chair, and made the whole thing feel human instead of humiliating. I cannot recommend Limitless Barbershop enough. And Bryan? That man can handle anything. Toddler meltdown, bad attitude, probably a bear--doesn't matter. He's your guy. I met Kayla and she's the one who did an amazing job with my hair. I had a permed. A Spiral perm to be exact. The outcome is so beautiful and I loved it. She's very patient with my long thick hair even if we happen to have like 4hrs of doing it (over all). I will always come back to Kayla and have her to do my hair forever . Come over and try their services. Marco is actually the one who does my boyfriend's hair. And of course he knows what my boyfriend likes so that's what he do for him.

When I returned a short time later with my son to show them that the hairdresser had shaved off his eyebrows during the haircut, they returned the money but there was no apology. Instead the hairdresser denied doing it and stated that she would like to know how that happened. This place cares more about speed and turning over clients than doing a good job. Absolutely awful.
