In order for this to be accomplished I had to take a day off work and travel about an hour and a half to get to their dealership. I even received a call from Felicia, while on my way, confirming that I was coming. When I arrived I was greeted, introduced to the salesman and offered something to drink. Felicia went to retrieve the keys. Immediately it became evident that there was a "problem", as she could not locate the keys. After conferring with numerous people, the car I had came to purchase was conveniently sold on Thursday. I however was offered two other vehicles, slightly higher price and not even the same make or model. I expect the 'ol bait and switch from a grimy used car lot, but not someone that is supposed to be a reputable dealer. I felt pressured and uncomfortable. I had done my research and knew what I was purchasing, but when that was conveniently no longer available I wasn't satisfied purchasing something that I did not want. So, not only had I lost a day of work, but I also lost the car I have been searching months for. If they had called me and stated they sold it out from under me I would have taken that better, but I was contacted by them numerous times for a week straight confirming I would be there and no one took the time to verify the car was still there, nor tell me I was wasting my time.
