I have traveled all over the world...and certainly all over Michigan...and no shop has ever had more security cameras, rules posted, and snarky, rude negative employees. It is so off-putting I do my best to avoid it. For a tourist village, this shop is actively making it known they don't care about welcoming customers and they are clearly maniacally paranoid. Enter at your own risk. Are the candles pleasant? Yes. But it's not worth the experience you are forced to go through to make a purchase.

She startled and scared and creeped me out that I took 2 steps in and walked right out. She was scolding me for taking a photo. She was so not welcoming to fellow yelpers, reviewers, potential free marketing or potential curious customers. She lost business from my husband and I with her curt, raucous and rude manners. After such an traumatic experience with this place, I shutter to say it, but I hope it shuts down this year or sooner, especially with such a rude person on their staff. She was the most shamelessly awful employee I have ever come across in all of my 888 establishments I have visited through Yelp so far. If 0 stars was allowed, I would have given it to them and I don't say that, ever. She was well deserving of -5 if possible. Good riddance to this mean staff member, she will for certain drive away customers by the droves.
