What a fun little shop! If you like handcrafted, made in Michigan stuff, you'll love Swankyz. They've got a great variety of items like soaps, candles, cast iron sculptures, jewelry, dog treats, people treats, clothing, etc. - all made by local artists and business owners. I'd be very surprised if you were unable to find something out of the vast array that tickles your fancy. The store is spacious and laid out smartly to avoid feeling cramped or overstimulated. Everything is clearly priced and neatly displayed. We also talked with the owners for a few minutes, and they were super friendly. You won't regret stopping and shopping here. The owners, Mike and Greg, are outstanding. We had such a good time there. The variety of products is amazing. I purchased some items and then contacted them a few days later to ship something I failed to buy. They were so nice they even shipped it free because on our return trip they were closed. This is a great Gift & Art Gallery mostly Michigan Made stuff , I think all the Artist are local but it seems like it should be in Traverse City or GR not Manistee it's way to cool for this little town, but I love it, you must stop in there if you come to Manistee they are always awesome to talk with as well, very nice and very unique Michigan Handmade gifts and Art! read more

This is my favorite shop when in Manistee, this is on our must stop list! They are so nice and very friendly and the Michigan made items are very unique one of a kind that you would not find in a typical Michigan Made store, they have Artist from all over the state and each one is very different which is very cool b/c you can find something for just about anyone you might be shopping for, including yourself or your dog, we bought some Michigan made dog treats and our dogs love them, we have to make a trip to Manistee to get more when they run out!! If you are ever in Manistee do yourself a favor and stop in and check out all the need stuff! read more
