She explained everything about extensions to me during our consultation since it is my first time getting them, and she was up front and honest about the entire process and cost. She was very considerate of how I was feeling in the chair during my service, assured me that we could chat or I could watch tv or listen to music etc. and there was no pressure whatsoever. She also explained each step of the process as she did it, and she never handed me off to anyone else for shampooing etc. She ordered us lunch and we conversed and I felt very taken care of. My extensions turned out phenomenal and I am extremely pleased. I received a complimentary blow out a few weeks after my extensions were applied, and I had just as great of an experience. However i really feel Apotheca needs to know about my experience. I walked out with the second worst hair cut of my life. I asked for a shag hair cut, with curtain bangs. I ended up with some sort of bob like cut. My bangs were utterly destroyed. The stylist took a weird blunt chunk out of the center, and didn't blend them. I have a weird mix of long and short chunks for bangs now. To their credit a senior stylist 'fixed' my bangs-its better than what the original stylist did, but it's still a step below good. I realize I was given to a junior stylist, and it's a learning process, but I think she really needs a senior stylist to take her under their wing and mentor her. I certainly will not be going back.
