My husband had Aliyah do his nails and I had Hallie. They were both amazing. Aliyah explained to my husband why his nails are growing a specific way and what to do to fix certain issues. For me I am always fighting brittle and bending nails and we figured out what to do to try and fix these compared to my norm. I would say we will be back when we need our pedicure.

I tried to call for an appointment and no one answered. I went to the store to make the appointment and Marylou's daughter was there. I explained I had a Groupon. She told me to wait as her mom was on her way in. 1/2 way through she told me no Groupon could be used. I wrote a Facebook review also. From my understanding, Marylou is not even licensed to do nails. Apparently her daughter does nails and massages also? not sure if anyone is licensed. Everyone I spoke with since has told me to stay away. They do not honor your Groupon. I got a refund from Groupon.

Who doesn't want glitz in NY City!? We were welcomed, offered drinks, while one customer had her nails completed. Two nails were there working hard. The owner and sister, the high school daughter of the owner was also doing small basic tasks (not actual licensed work). The family is Hispanic, and at times it was hard to communicate what I wanted done, as I unfortunately don't remember my 3 years of HS Spanish. The establishment was clean, the staff was nice, and we really loved our nails. Both of our nails were custom design for Christmas and cute. We will return.

I've always passed by The place, but never stopped. Boy am I glad I did. Carole was my stylist and I am HIGHLY recommending her. She asked what I wanted done, and I had a picture to show her. She cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted and even gave me a few tips on maintaining my bangs. I am addicted and plan in making this my place to go!
