I have been a customer for over 15 years. Customer service hasn't always been great, but I have just dealt with it. Recently, they over charged me over $600, stating insurance didn't cover. They had NEVER sent me a statement, and then sent this bill to collections. Shame on me for not verifying this, but I paid it when the collections department called me. A month later they informed me that I had an over $600 CREDIT on my account. I asked about this, and they told me that I did NOT have a balance due, and they would just "use the credit for future charges." I requested a refund instead, and to their credit, they refunded me. Two months later, they tried to charge an old credit card that I had for a couple of hundred dollars. Over the course of two days, I spent over 6 hours on the phone trying to figure this out. I talked to several people, and was told I owed four different amounts, from dates of service TWO YEARS prior! I have asked multiple times for statements to be sent to me. They have never been sent. I have asked multiple times for assistance logging into the "Patient Portal" since it does not recognize my login. I asked to speak to a supervisor during the last call, and was disconnected. I called right back and was disconnected again. The third time, I was transferred to a department that was closed. I called back again and was told that I would have to call back "another time." I called back the next day, and spoke to a supervisor, but they were not very helpful. I ended up paying, again, the $200 that they asked for, just to make this go away. After I paid the balance due, I confirmed that I owed them nothing. Then, they cancelled my account and flagged it. I am on a therapy that requires their service. I ordered supplies from them TWICE over two weeks, and they willingly took my credit card information, and "placed the order" but never told me that my account was closed, and they would be not sending the supplies. I am now going through the hassle in finding a new provider. I would avoid Lincare at ALL COSTS. read more

Irresponsible company that preys on vulnerable people with medical needs. Poor customer service--no one ever calls you back. My account was deactivated when my insurance changed--but I never received a call or letter to tell me. It's been almost one year since I've received new CPAP supplies. First they said I need a new prescription; got that. Then I need a new doctor's visit; got that. Then I need to send my CPAP chip in; did that. Then they didn't have a computer to read my chip; now they said they've read it but can't print the report so they will contact the Help Desk on Monday. Horrible, horrible, horrible company. Long story short: They sent me the wrong headgear and are refusing to either reimburse me for the charge or send the correct one. Whole story: I've been using Lincare for years, getting the same headgear for the entire time. A few orders ago, I was shipped a different style. It fit so I figured the old one was just discontinued. On my last order, they sent a strap that did not fit. I called and was told to send it back for a replacememt. I did and they sent a box full of nose pillows that weren't in the right size. I called again and was told to send it back for a replacement. I did and they then sent me a frame not the strap. I called again, was told to send it back and when I called, I was told by a Kelly Golden from the Escalation Resolution Team that they would not send me a replacement. Even though she admitted that the new headgear should never have been sent in the first place, that they still carried the original headgear and the new strap was "universal". I don't know what she means by that . The strap doesn't fit. She says that she won't send a replacement since she claims that I never sent the wrong strap back. Which doesn't make sense for a few reasons. First of all, they obviously got the strap back as they tried to send a replacement for it. Two, why do they even care since they can't sell opened medical equipment to someone new. And three, this is really how they treat a costumer of this many years. They admit the gear should never have been changed, they admit that you sent the wrong strap for this gear THREE TIMES and they're still reusing to replace it? read more

This is only recently for the last 4 to 5 months. This group has gone from decent to lousy. After sending my stuff to the my new location for a year. They send my sleep supplies back to where I used to live. Doctor has asked for them to set me up with a new machine. No real person has called to address this. Called the corporate office to address there crappy services here in NJ. Do to it's been over 1 month. Sleep Circle who they took over was a better and far more professional. They didn't have these issues and were not lazy or slacked off. The very attitude that is represented now. Doesn't give a damn if they lose business. It's more important to send robo calls which my phone automatically drops. So if a person gets constant calls and doesn't want to be bothered. Lincare better start lighting a fire or fire those who are hurting there business. Sleep Apnea is a quality of life issue. If these people used the brain God gave them. They would use common sense to take the time to have a number for people to call back to bypass the B. S. But like I stated IF they care. Seems this is going to be another company that deserves to be fired and go under. With people who don't care about the future of making a paycheck. read more

Due to COVID-19 my father is NPO and feeds via PEG. We were forced to transfer from CORAM to Lincare as his formula provider. First it took forever to set up the account. Took so long that CORAM had to send us an order to carry him over until Lincare sent the supplies. Reordering was a nightmare, it fell on Thanksgiving week. I told them exactly how much was left and to please make sure the order was processed. When we received nothing over the weekend, I called on Monday to inquired about the status. I was then informed that the order was just being processes and that if would arrive Wednesday. They did not place the order until 6 days after I called! I understand the holiday but I specifically asked them to please make sure to process it before the holiday as he was going to run out of formula. The first person that answered the phone, hung up on me when I asked what could I purchase over the counter. The second and third calls were disconnected. On the next call, I asked for a manager/supervisor (she gets the star). Don't remember her name but she was helpful (though unable to assist in recommending alternative/temporary feeding options for the day) and promised to overnight enough to carry him over until the full order arrives. It's 1:14pm and I'm still trying to figure out how Dad will be given his last 2 "meals" of the day. One more note, Coram had a nutritionist we called and she checked in every so often to see how Dad was doing. The reps at Lincare don't even know if there have one. read more

As an office manager of a medical practice, I reached Lincare to build a relationship with a local DME supplier for my patient's, as we are now providing at home sleep studies. These studies provide guidance for our physician in recommending appropriate CPAP machines. Unfortunately the woman who answered the phone did not seem interested in building rapport or answering friendly questions about protocol. She questioned the ordering doctor's credentials and then scoffed when asked about pricing. Its unfortunate for Lincare that this woman is answering their phones. We will certainly take our business elsewhere. read more

Really awful customer service. Unfortunately this is the company my Dr works with for CPAP supplies. Easy to wait on hold for 15 minutes before they answer. Yesterday, after being a customer for 3 1/2 years, their rep told me that my set up was pending and I was not eligible for any supplies.....WHAT.!?! Eventually got that straightened out only to learn that she had no idea about what product I was using and the components needed, trying to tell me that they do not supply all the parts I need.......WHAT?!?!? Eventually she said she'd transfer me to a local office, which I figured was just a way to get rid of me. After another 10 minutes of recorded hold messages, someone answered but hung up on me. Oh, and don't think they will actually return your call even though they offer to call you back if you don't want to hold. If you want Peace of Mind, do NOT use this company. read more

I guess I should have checked Yelp before accepting the CPAP supplier my doctor gave me (Lincare.) Had I seen zero responses to all of these 1-star reviews I would have known customer service is no concern of theirs. I just got my CPAP machine in December. Called to order my first month's supplies and was told they cannot tell me how much it will cost me. I questioned why and she hung up on me! What a joke. I've been working with Lincare for years for my CPAP supplies. The organizational structure is very poor. I receive one phone call from supplies and when I inform them I am expecting a different CPAP machine, they ask me to call a different office without them being able to forward the call. The local Fairfield office is mismanaged and hold times are ridiculous if your phone call is answered at all. I would recommend going to a different provider for your needs. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Unfortunately I have to use them as they are the only Medicare provider. They have consistently messed up my CPAP supplies order. The email contact links on their site do not work. Stay as far away from this company as you can! Thye just refilled my supplies and sent me stuff I have NEVER used before and a hose that does not go with my machine. I hate Lincare of Fairfield, NJ. This is the worst company I have ever done business with. I was renting a CPAP machine from Sleep Circle which was acquired by Lincare in Feb 2018. The machine has never worked correctly. I have been contacting Lincare for months trying to get the unit serviced. They have an answering service that takes your message and then they say someone will call you back which hardly ever happens, and the person you need to speak to is not around. They don't have a billing department. They bill you through a 3rd party, which will do nothing to resolve help you resolve your dispute. read more

I don't order too much supply since the CPAP industry kept sending me supplies despite not really needing them but long before the industry just hadn't set parameters and coverage limits. Now I needed a couple of items and before ordering, my insurance had to be updated and the order would be shipped. Two weeks after providing the information, it was still not in the system and still don't have my order. Updating the information should have taken at the most 48 hours. This is the worse company to deal with. They sent a tech to check my wife's portable oxygen unit. he had no knowledge of the unit and left. After calling the company i was told the doctor had to submit a script stating that the unit was beyond repair. Neither i or the doctor understood this but he sent a script for a new updated unit. I then get a call from Lincare saying they will send someone out to check the unit but are not willing to just change it out. (2 days later) I suggest you DO NOT deal with this company. Billing and insurance is an absolute nightmare with this company. 4 requests to change my address, no luck. 4 requests to acknowledge my deductible is met, no luck. Someone says "oh yes, I see but nothing changes." EOB from BCBS and their office doesn't match. Very friendly and helpful people that get nothing accomplished. My mom ends up in the hospital because their oxygen concentrator malfunctioned. Tried to call the office number no response because it was after hours on Friday. Google to try to troubleshoot no results. So mom gets up to go to the bathroom, falls on the floor and was unconscious. Ambulance then emergency room for 14 hrs until social worker at hospital called lincare and said they were calling from hospital and received an on call person. Why is this info not provided to patients. Then the oncall tech does not want to come from Nj to New York. "Make sure your home I don't want to come out there for nothing" he says . Meanwhile she can't be release from the hospital until the new equipment is there. Their mission statement is a joke. read more

VERY disappointed in Lincare/CareCentrix customer service. Over the past several years, since the relationship with CareCentrix, customer service has become customer disservice. Today, I called asking several very simple questions of the representative on the phone: What is your title? What is the cost of the new CPAP machine I would be taking delivery of? I could not get an answer to either question. When I tried to delve deeper to get at the real information I needed, the Representative summarily hung up without so much as a thank you or goodbye. Needless to say, I will be cancelling my relationship with this organization and reporting this to my pulmonologist as well. DO NOT purchase anything from Lin-Care. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have issues with my C-Pap machine for over two months. I have contacted every phone number I could find and still no one has ever called me back. I spoke to a woman who claimed to be a manager and she promised to take care of handling my issue immediately. I have never heard from her or anyone from Lin-care again. The only thing they seem to be good at is having the automated calling bother you each morning to ask if want more supplies! Blue Cross and all othr health plans should look closely into this company because they vare charging huge amounts of money for these supplies but the patient cannot get any service. read more

Horrible company to deal with. My husband is on oxygen ... impossible to reach them for a refill. Called yesterday to order tanks ... spoke to answering service .. tried all morning but only got a busy signal. Today same thing ... busy signal ... finally got thru at 2:45 pm asked if I was getting a delivery ... after being on hold for a long time Stephanie informed me she was trying to get a hold of the driver. I told her it was impossible to reach them ... she informed me they were a very busy company. I told her I gave a message to the answering service at 12:52 pm yesterday ... she said if I left a message with the answering service I had to follow up with the office to make sure my message was received. My husband is on oxygen 24/7 ... it is not an option ... they don't seem to "get it" .. this isn't the first time I've gotten horrible service. When my husband first went on oxygen it took them over 24 hours to get it to us because the initial call was placed an hour before they closed for the day. I'm so ready to look for another company ... we'll see when this request is filled. I've explained to them I can only get deliveries on Tuesdays or Thursdays because Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays I have to take my husband to dialysis ... they are never very accommodating ... go to another company for oxygen ... these people are the worst. read more
