After experiencing it - I know I will be doing it again. The float is weird at first, but after you get settled the stress and tension just seem to float away. My neck had a pain in it for awhile, and it is relieved after the float. I didn't expect that. I thought it was just going to be an interesting experience, I had no idea the tension relieving benefits that I would receive. I can't wait to do it again! I had the appointment in the morning, and am writing this review late in the evening - and I have been relaxed and tension free all day. Stress has eased. The benefits are amazing. The pool is large and there is a shower in the room. I would advise taking a bag with all the products you need to shower and get ready. I took a large bag. I wish I would have taken a bag that had different compartments because all my stuff got jumbled between what I needed for shower and getting ready. You will shower and dress in the float room - but them move to another room to finish your blow drying - so it will be easier to keep your items separate for easier and faster access. Take a good shampoo with you - my hair felt very salty (no surprise) when I was finished. So I wanted to give a good wash and condition after. If you have a scrape - use the ointment provided to cover it. The bath does sting if you have a cut. I had one on my knee that I didn't even know I had until I got in the bath.

Based on Yelp reviews and references from UK Health I contacted Home Instead by phone. Whitney, the owner, was very professional and informative. I thought we would need her services in about ten days when my friend would be released from the hospital. As it turned out my friend was released to hospice earlier than we had expected. I called Whitney about 10 AM and she had a professional caregiver at our home by 7 PM that same evening. Kim, the professional caregiver, was amazing --- experienced, sensitive, caring. Unfortunately, we only needed her services one night as our friend passed the following morning. We had paid for a week of service in advance. Quite unexpectedly, Home Instead charged only for the one night of service and refunded the balance. I doubt there is any better caregiving service in the Lexington area.

Everyone was very kind and courteous, but one in particular went above and beyond. The 6 yr old was being treated for basically an allergic reaction, and a ER nurse named Micki Jo (sp?) was so kind. She brought the girls coloring books, tiaras, and stuffed animals, and she wasn't even their primary nurse. Later, she then came in and picked up the 1 yr old (who HATES strangers) and took her to get ice cream for both of the girls. She was wonderful, and deserves to be praised!

Baptist Health Home Care has really gone downhill. Apparently they were bought out by another…read morecompany and it's been one problem after another. First, I asked for a FEMALE physical therapist which they said was not a problem. A couple of weeks later, a MALE PT calls me to set up an appointment. I explained I wanted a female. So another week or so went by with no call. So I called them and said I would accept a male PT. Another couple of weeks go by and I get a call from nurse wanting to come by. I said I'd already seen their nurse and I'd been waiting weeks for a PT. Finally another week or so later, a PT calls and I have my first PT session. He said he'd let me know how many PT sessions a week I would have, but it's usually once a week. A week went by with no call, no show for a second visit. A second week goes by no call, no show, so I had start all over again finding another home physical therapy company. I don't recommend anyone use BH home care because they apparently don't have enough staff and they are very disorganized.
