I took a trip to Seattle and my portable O2 quit working. I called to see if there was a trick to reset it. Lady on the phone acted very put out and kept saying I can't help you. She was kinda rude. Would not even ask anyone. So I called a LINCARE here in Seattle area. City of Kent. The lady there was very helpful and told me to remove battery and reinstall. Worked great. SLO LINCARE needs to train their people on the phone to be more helpful. read more

With most of their sales calls being done from a Third World location, and their face-to-face 'service' all but extinct, this poor excuse for a medical supplier continues to amaze me with their astounding arrogance. I had fired them about 4 years or more ago, when I found Air-Care, the complete opposite of Lin-Care...good service, call-backs usually within the hour, great respiratory therapists...whats not to love? As is too often the case, they were acquired by "Lame-Care". I had to 'refire' them again this morning, and their idiot response was to tell me, "Good luck finding another supplier..." SERIOUSLY??? I will be writing directly to the corporate office and give them the dressing down they deserve...and remind them that, like Enron, they are not to big to fail. DO NOT work with Lincare in SLO! They quoted me one amount that I'd owe when I came in to pick up the c-pap machine and presented me with a HIGHER BILL when I got there! I got a c-pap machine from them and a full mask with a brief training. I could not get the mask to fit and work at home. I work full time 8-5pm so I could not easily take the entire machine back and get a different mask. They set my account to NON-COMPLIANT and yet still charged me a monthly fee on top of what they charged to my insurance. I paid it off in full but when I called the unhelpful lady who took my call would NOT allow the account to be reset so I can not order supplies from them, nor can I get help. What a TERRIBLE way to do business with folks in SLO who need sleep apnea help. DO NOT GO TO LINCARE! read more

This rating is based on the Lincare Medical Supplies call center customer service department and is not directed at my local office. I am on a 90 call cycle for Cpap supplies and was sent an incorrect item as part of my last order. I called Lincare on three separate occasions in an effort to rectify and was told each time I would receive the correct part after the normal 7-10 shipping period. Today I get the 90 reorder call and tell the rep I am considering dropping Lincare as a result of the snafu for the correct item I have yet to receive. The sales rep was was completely indifferent and stated "call us back if you decide to reorder supplies." The catch here is Medicare will stop paying for supplies if I do not reorder claiming I am not using my device. Now I have to call Medicare to explain and I can't used a different supplier without a doctor, new sleep study, etc. All it takes is a phone call from Lincare with an effort to resolve this PITA issue. Guess it won't happen. Very disappointed! Would use a minus star if possible. read more

I originally got my C-pap machine from one company and then Lincare bought out that company over a year ago. No one has contacted me about my machine or supplies. I had questions about my machine and it took me five phone calls to get an appointment. NO ONE ever ever calls you back. I have no one monitoring me. Customer service and service in general STINKS !!! You would think since you can possibly die from sleep apnea, Lincare would would be monitoring their patients a lot closer. Lincare is setting their selfs up for a law suite. I would switch companies but unfortunately I would have to purchase another machine and they are very expensive. Thank you, Karen B. read more

In December we went there and ordered a cpap for my husband and were told with our insurance it would be covered 100 percent. Imagine my surprise when in April I received a bill for almost 700. I called my local office and told not our problem, call billing. Spent over 2 hours on hold in 2 calls and never reached a live person. Called my local office again and told them this and asked if they could reach billing for me. No. So I did nothing and waited. Almost 3 months later I get a call and they are now working on it. My husband has been without supplies for 3 months. My reason for choosing them was they did have a local office. My mistake. I think they have the problem solved and billing has apoligized but I'm very disappointed in their local people read more

This company has called me and hung up on me three times! When I called them on this, they kept saying we called and talked to you. Wrong! They didn't update my records when I changed the type of equipment supplies I needed. So I had to call them, again, to have them do that. Usually, when you call, you get their answering service. I received my 3 month CPAP supplies today only to find that Lincare sent the wrong filters and water chamber. Both items don't fit my CPAP machine. I've been getting CPAP supplies from Lincare since April of 2021, so one would think that they would know what CPAP machine I use and the supplies that I need. Lincare supposedly has requested a mailing label through UPS so I can send the wrong supplies back. In the meantime, Lincare won't send me the correct supplies, until they know that I returned the wrong supplies. Seems wrong that I would be inconvenienced by a delay in receiving my supplies because of their error. read more

I was told to call them back. I was put on hold for 7 minutes! During this time, I listened to 19 messages telling me how "important" my call was to them!! Then, after 7 minutes, my call was answered by an Answering Service!! Seriously!! Find somewhere else to get your DME! Ever since AIRCARE was acquired by Lincare the customer care and professionalism has been non-existent. I had to buy my own CPap machine after the one they gave me turned out to be cancer-causing and consequently recalled by Phillips. After trying to get supplies from my new machine since last April and many frustrating long winded sessions over the phone, the only solution they could offer was for me to schlep 1 hour and 11 minutes to them so they could download the data from my machine. Once I arrived there was no receptionist! After I told the closest person working there that I had an appointment and that I needed to use their restroom, she told me I had to go use the restroom at the Chevron station! It was no where in walking distance--especially with a bladder about to burst! I have never been treated so disrespectfully. This place should have negative stars! read more

I had a sleep study performed 4/17,because my current cpap machine is giving me problems after 5/12 years. I'm dealing with lincare slo. Since 7/17. My follow up calls for the new cpap are on me. Lincare does not make follow up calls to report status. Well now I need supplies for my current cpap. The rcp I was talking with actually said go on line and buy your supplies it quicker!!!. I have been dealing with Lincare's San Luis Obispo staff for Oxygen tanks, compressors and related equipment since September of 2011. They recently assisted me in both lighter weight equipment needed for a road trip as well as getting a personal oxygen concentrator (POC) for 4 hour airplane flight. Contact with their office staff over the phone as well as in person and with their delivery personnel has always been great. Professional and Competent. I don't know all their names, but have most contact with a fellow named Jerry who recently set me up and trained me on use of the POC and in the past has helped with an equipment malfunction as well as normal deliveries. Having retired from a career in the computer industry that involved the highest product quality and customer satisfaction, I appreciate it when I see it in other companies. read more

I can not say enough good things about Lincare! I have been using them for years and have never had a problem. They have been very accommodating when I have had a question and my supplies have always come on time with no effort in getting them! I highly recommend Lincare over a previous well known DME I have had to use. It is now over a month and, regardless of several calls, I have not had any concrete information shared with me other than a promise of a return call. After being in health insurance with a book of business of @$30,000,000 and a client base of @3000 I must say this is the worst experience with a medical provider ever. From terrible phone manners, almost unintelligible English and a failure to follow up with phone calls, I called the manager...who proceeded to "Talk over" me at every turn. They also claimed I had to make a special appointment with them...despite the fact that I have used CPAP equipment for over 7 years and have a prescription from my personal physician. Look up the complaints online. I contacted Lincare Corporation and asked that the staff in San Luis Obispo receive customer service training. As a topper...the SLO office divulged private patient information to the staff at my physicians office, something that is not required. WOW! read more
