I had a living trust done here a couple of years ago. Needed two names swapped in order in my trust and was told it could be up to $1,000. $150 just to speak to the attorney who did my trust in the first place . I feel since they already collected their money to create this trust a couple of years ago they should have given me a very reasonable price just to switch the order of two of the names in the trust . Very unhappy with their service!!! I had an appointment and had to cancel the day of the appointment because of an emergency and they informed me at that time that they don't like cancellations. No concern for my emergency. I called back a couple weeks to reschedule and they refused to offer me service again. I could see if they had a cancellation policy and if you cancelled two times, there would be a fee. I was given this contact by my employer and will for sure go back to my employer to have them removed from the list and to tell them how I was treated. In the end, I'm thankful that I didn't get service because I'm just now seeing all the bad reviews. read more

Went in for a consultation and I thought it went well until I called them about their retainer fee and was not given an answer. Instead they emailed me telling me it wasn't a good fit and when I called to ask why, I was again sent to voicemail and got a response through email basically telling me off and that I needed to move on with my search for a firm. The emails were rude for no reason. I called for a question I had. They went as far as saying, "The one thing I will say is, this back and forth with you has more than solidified our decision." I only called them twice. Once for the retainer fee question and then why it wasn't a "good fit" for my case. Don't waste your time and money on a consultation. They're super unprofessional when it comes to responding to possible clients. read more

Sadly I had to leave 1 star because none is not an option. Absolutely terrible representation. Initial consultation went well and I felt confident going with this company. Towards the end , and thousands of dollars later, my attorney turned and sided with my ex and I lost everything. I felt I had to repeat certain details numerous times. Proper notes were not taken. Threats and scare tactics were made and this attorney tried to drop me!! Forcing me to give in to demands that were never agreed upon in the beginning. To top it all off, we never went to court. If you want to throw your money out the window in a long drawn out process that turns against you in the end then my friend this place is for you! Do not expect them to fight for you and stand in your corner. They will turn their back real fast and cost you everything leaving you speechless. read more

My first encounter with an attorney was bad. Michael Lincoln is all about "Churn and Burn". Waits till Friday for a response on messages left on Monday. I would not recommend this attorney for anything. Arrogant, rude, condescending and generally makes all attorney's look bad. He also thinks he's a tax expert! read more

But after I retained them, limited to poor communication, disorganized, and when there was inevitably an error their response was something along the lines of, "its your fault" I was left with the feeling that I needed to be a better attorney even though that is why I hired them. This was a simple family law matter. I had all my documents. The "Attorney" did not. I had even offered to bring mine from the car. He told me, "don't bother." I was already divorced. They spent thousands of dollars of my money repeatedly asking me for documents that were unnecessary, AS I was divorced and what I spend on groceries and bills is none of his business. Regardless, I would send the docs in entirety and they would loose them. Notice that they are also bankruptcy law. They are very good at driving people into bankruptcy during the legal process. read more

Used L&W and from the Very beginning the Paralegal kept losing my exhibits, evidence i provided wasn't turned in. Communication was so terrible and my attorney seemed very confused. I Spent close to 22k. My attorney was quiet I felt like I was doing all the work and I did most of the talking during the case. I have used this firm on several adoption proceedings. The first was over 6 years ago and Vanessa made the process as simple as could be. When it came time to adopt the other children, Vanessa, and her paralegal were both available to assist with three more adoptions. Even with wrinkles in one of the cases, the whole situation being a nightmare personally, Danielle and Vanessa have been nothing but AWESOME!. Danielle tolerates my questions, even as "dumb" as they are, and takes the time to explain the requirements to me, so that *I* understand the why and when. After this last round, we should be done making our family complete, but I cannot say enough good things about these two at this firm! read more

Okay, if there was less than a star here, I would rate it a zero!!! I went with Michael Lincoln and it was an absolute disaster. You will lose your case if you retain him. You will receive charges for which you will receive no explanation. He will forget important information about your case, or not properly study. I could write an extensive review on ALL the ways this law firm screwed up, but I don't think anybody would want to read it all. I know I am a stranger posting on this website, but, take it from me: DON'T use this firm! You will pay out your teeth for something a mediator could do, or you could do yourself through the courts. Mr. Lincoln's wife is the billing person and charges are inflated and never explained. If you ask questions about simple things, you will not receive answers and you have to keep asking and keep getting charged. read more

Horrible communication. Do not secure this attorney firm to represent you. The assist will lie about contacting you and they will have you sign a retainer and then 9 months later decide they don't want your case because it is not a slam dunk and they would have to "work hard" to win your case. read more
