This place is kind of the gold standard for drive-through coffee shops, in my mind. Like one or two of the other nicer drive through places, this place really has the whole concept down and delivers on it day after day. They located on 20th and Lincoln, and have a building that has dual drive-through's. The offerings there, like many other places, continue to expand with all things caffeinated. What really sets this place apart however, is the fact that They roast all their own beans every day. I have light roasts, dark roasts and often times other options available. Many of the businesses in the area serve their coffee, and truthfully I haven't had a bad brew from here. Their prices are very in line with many of the other spots in town, and the barista's are very helpful and friendly. Another differentiator here has been their collaboration with breweries in the area. One specific place, Wandering Hop Brewery, just down the street, brews an amazing stout that uses beans from these guys. A great coffee shop, with more than one drive-through, and to also works to brew excellent collaborative beers... Not a whole lot more you can ask for! read more

Giving it two stars because in the past I always received great service and great coffee but since my father became ill and I visit more often, the coffee and service has not been what it once was, I know that's been well over 8 years now but I digress. The last few times the coffee has been very mediocre, overpriced and most of the staff have terrible attitudes. I'm not sure what happened here but it used to be a friendly neighborhood cafe that I loved to frequent and would always make sure I tipped generously because of how warm and inviting it was plus, good coffee -- now, not so much. It's pretty odd that you receive better customer service at the Starbucks in town than a small coffee shack. Oh well, I guess. read more

First things first, this place is always busy with a line around it. However, the coffee tastes burnt, and I'm wondering if most people just get drinks with lots of sugar and flavoring to cover up the taste. Every time we come to Yakima we are excited to visit this coffee shop. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. The coffee is delicious. Unfortunately, today was a disappointment. We ordered an Earl Grey tea latte and a Iced Chai Tea. Yes, I realize how high-maintenance that sounds outside of Southern California, but in a confusing situation I would expect some clarifying questions from the barista to arrive at a simple, common understanding. LOVE. The barista's are super nice and they always give me free whipped cream for my puppies, even when I have three or four of them with me! Manager always has a smile for me even when things are very hectic. Extra shots are super cheap, too, so if you need an energy boost this is the place to go! My one complaint is their customer loyalty cards. They seem to have a different card for every drink, I find it so much easier when there is just one. read more

My dad has been coming here for almost 2 years, and I have been coming here for about seven months now. Lately, each time we come we order the same three drinks, same size, same amount of shots, everything the same each visit, but we keep getting different prices. One barista told us that the extra shots are free, another says they're not. One says blended drinks cost more, another says they're not. You get my point. One week, we went twice and they were back to back days, one day we were charged around $14, the next was around $19- and they were the same exact drinks!! I even asked why so much, and the barista said that the shots are extra and the blended costs more. A $5 difference?! I think not! And over the past month, I've received bitter burnt coffee and scalded breve. My dad (stage 4 terminal cancer fighter) loves getting his favorite coffee before his chemo sessions, but isn't satisfied with them recently because the coffee has become so inconsistent. Consistently good coffee! They have some iced tea varieties that keep you cool in the summer months! I have tried the creamsicle drink- a creamy, orange drink that tastes like those little ice cream cups I used to eat when I was younger, Yum! The peach lemonade is so tasty, too! RUDE...incompetent with zero customer services skills! Yesterday I got a coffee at this establishment and it was made with care to get right. Today I ordered the same coffee from a girl with shorts so small that her ass cheeks were hanging out the back...however, expecting at least, the same coffee as the day before. What I got was disgusting! No coffee just vanilla flavored milk. I told her it did not look or taste the same. She proceeded to tell me "that's what you ordered" and slammed the window shut in my face. For $5.50 I took the coffee back to the other window and the explained to the other girl the problem. She said oh I'll remake it for you and add some coffee shots. Then she (second girl) and the first "shorty ass shorts" girl came back to the window and said that will be $2.00 more. What!! $2 more to get my coffee right? No thanks. The explanation given was that there were lots of new people and they must have given me free shots the day before... I got my money back and went to star bucks! Ass girl did not impress me, the customer service did not impress me, the so called coffee certainly didn't impress me and I will not be wasting my $60 a week for coffee at this establishment. I've traveled the world, I've been a business owner and international executive for 30 years. I do not do business with such establishments that think they can be a long term success with horrible people skills and bad coffee! Good luck! If ever in Yakima Washington buy your coffee and tea ANYPLACE else rather than this place. So...not impressed. read more

Really tasty coffee at a super reasonable price. I got a 32 oz drip coffee (you heard me, 32 frickin' ounces!!) with 4 add shots....$3.75! In Calif., $3.75 gets you a 20 oz coffee, and that's it. And the girl working was very cute and cheery and seemed happy to be doing her job, which is a hard quality to find now in days. And it's a drive through, which seem to be popular in these parts. Just make sure you don't have a storage pod on top of your car or you won't fit in the drive through. read more

My wife and I are in Yakima for a week just visiting and have come here a few times now. We've tried some other espresso places in town, there are so many. This has been the best. They have a great white chocolate mocha and spiced Mexican mocha. Friendly staff and fast service with a drive thru on both sides of the small building. You can go inside if you want too. read more

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! The majority of the girls here are really polite and fast. The coffee is the best I have ever had. Although the lines are extremely long sometimes it is worth the wait. Depending on what girl is working that day I know whether to get a coffee a red bull or a tea because some of the girls are too slow and make the coffee with too much creme and no coffee. When Lincoln Avenue Espresso is doing it right, you get a consistent wonderful drink. When they aren't paying attention, you get a chocolate milk, iced, with whip. Fake whip at that. But, all in all, they're pretty good. AND they have Uncle Seth's cookies, so hey!
