I really wanted to love this place because the shop itself is beautiful. The interior looks very clean, bright, and modern, and the overall vibe is quite nice. The service was also perfectly okay--nothing spectacular, but fast enough and polite. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves left a lot to be desired. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea, and it tasted incredibly diluted. There was barely any actual tea flavor coming through. To make matters worse, the boba texture was pretty disappointing. It tasted like it had been sitting out for way too long. Instead of being completely soft and chewy, quite a few of the boba pearls had a distinctly hard interior. We were driving through Yakima to get to Walla Walla, stopped across the street for lunch, and this place caught my eye (I'm a California girl - gotta get my boba wherever I see it). All this said, I'm a California girl right so my expectations of a black milk tea are fairly high. I found the black milk tea to be too watery, and too sweet even at 50% sweetness. So I used to come here a lot and they had the best service and the best drinks. But until now their service sucks and their drinks are horrible.I tried calling them for around 10 minutes. They eventually answered and they hung up on me three separate times. They used to have the best setting and best ambiance but now everything sucks about this place. We were in Union Gap for lunch and wanted some dessert afterwards. I didn't expect to find a good boba shop in the area, but after examining the menu at & Tea, I found the place intriguing enough to try. I got the typical single black milk tea that I get at most shops that are new to me. Black Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The black tea here is actually quite good, with a good earthiness almost like a quarter going to puerh. The place recommends half sweet for this drink and I agree that it's very appropriate. The creamer is balanced well in the drink and is not overpowering. The boba has pretty good chew and have a somewhat sticky exterior from the sugar soak. They are kind of oblong in shape and not completely spherical. The pearls are a bit inconsistent in both size and exterior texture. Some are quite smooth on the outside, but others have mini crags running along the surface. In addition, they aren't the most uniform in size, with smaller pieces that seem to have split off. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 & Tea is pretty good. For Yakima, I'd say this is a 5/5 boba spot but with Seattle standards, I can't quite say it's beyond excellent. Would definitely visit if in the area but not make a pitstop without other reasons. Pretty sizeable menu. Tablet ordering when you walk in which is easy and convenient. They had signs for a promo of buy one get another half off but it didn't work on the tablet, so I opted to not try multiple drinks. Taro Green Milk Tea with Boba - 50% sweet was very sweet, more like 100% so I'm worried what 100% actually is. However, flavor was good! Solid green tea, just super sweet. Don't get me wrong, I have a sweet tooth but it's unnecessary in a milk tea since it tends to overwhelm the tea or creaminess of the milk. Taro chunks were great and added another layer of creaminess as well as texture. Boba was chewy, just lacked flavor. read more

Very very excited that this spot is finally open! We've been looking forward to having another good bubble tea spot in town, and after trying this we are more excited for what they are! Most national trends end up coming to our area about five years later than in big cities. We got a good bubble tea spot a couple of years ago, but having a place that calls the cream on top of bubble tea, "cheese" is something that we haven't seen outside of Seattle. Needless to say, we were really excited about finding it! They also have flavors that we haven't seen outside of Seattle like winter melon and yakult. They also have the options of making things more or less sweet, something that we greatly appreciate as none of us need more sugar than we're currently getting! Finally, they have hot options and multiple teas (oolong, jasmine, etc) which takes the experience to another level! The space is really nice or, since it's right downtown, it's a great spot to grab a drink and head out for a walk or meander to your next food destination. It was late afternoon and I settled on a non-caffeinated beverage. Strawberry milk with boba: think of strawberry spread in milk. It was ok but 50% sweetness is definitely too sweet. I didn't know what to expect and had I known the spread would add to the sweetness, I would have adjusted accordingly. I don't know who started this form of measurement in boba establishments but this measurement it's not helpful. Those donut were ok. These didn't seem as fresh. I've had lighter ones with glazes which are very lightly applied as well. I think the overall experience was that everything is so sweet. read more

Drinks are as described and refreshing. Delicious most of the time. Real boba tea variety and only natural tasting boba in Yakima. Donuts are very oil but may be my own preference. Price is high like anywhere else. Match is very low quality. I would avoid at all cost, very disappointing they serve it. Not locally owned. read more

Ordered a blended taro milk tea and it was very...grainy and particularly sweet at the bottom. It was not blended all the way and neither my husband or I ended up drinking it. We paid $21 with tip for two drinks. Super disappointed. UPDATED: Updated from 2 starts the 4 stars. I can't say the drinks improved as I haven't gone back but I do appreciate the owner trying to make it right. That speaks volumes about a business! read more

Not a very good way to start a new business, they had nothing available on the menu. If you are going to have specials you mite want to make sure to have ingredients in stock. Pretty good, there's no shortage of these places appearing in town, and at least they let you sit at tables and relax, the downtown vibe is nice, I saw a waffle iron but nothing listed on the menu about the waffles, but apparently it's a big thing over the mountains too.
