Decent little park. Very quiet and peaceful overall. It's a nice short walk around the park plus if you walk through it. I also like that it's family friendly. I didn't see any homeless or suspicious people. My only complaint is the city somehow decided NOT to put doors in the restrooms which is a total violation of privacy not to mention a safety issue because anyone could just walk in on you at your most vulnerable time. It's so ridiculous. I don't advise using the restroom here. read more

Awesome neighborhood and beautiful park. My family comes to this park all of the time. The children's playground portion of the park looks relatively new and is kept clean, although the bathrooms do seemed to be closed quite a bit. The rose garden is kept up quite nicely, and the grounds seem to be well managed, with the cool old homes as a nice backdrop to your park outing. After speaking with neighbors who frequent the park I found out that its regularly patrolled by Pomona Police, and some of the local surrounding residents even video monitor the park 24 hours sending feed to the Police to catch any wrong doings that might go on. We always seem to meet friendly local people who are quick to strike up a conversation when we are there. read more

I LOVE this park and the neighborhood it resides in. Even when compared with Bungalow Heaven in Pasadena, this park is unmatched. Literally every house...one after the other is original from around a 100 years ago...unlike Bungalow Heaven that will have very many original houses...but not one after the other. There is a problem that R.A. alluded to earlier about the "shady" individuals. Unfortunately they do sometimes come up since the neighborhood isn't exactly gated....but the frequency is a bit exaggerated. The police do patrol and the neighbors here are vigilant to what's going on. All in all, I wouldn't want to live next to any other park....especially around Halloween....that's when this place comes alive. read more

This historic neighborhood park is like walking back in time. To an era where men took pride in their craftsmanship and built things to last. The original gas lamps are still in use today, although they have been converted to run off electricity. This park was built almost 96 years ago and it still looks pristine. Plenty of space and large old trees to sit under for shade. City planners and developers could learn a thing or two by studying the layout of this park. My great grandfather helped pour the concrete slabs and other masonry work between 1918-1922, but even if he didn't it's still one of my favorite parks in the United States. I drive past here often and I like seeing families celebrating birthdays and children running around having fun. This is a nice safe place to spent time at. Many movies have been filmed here and around the nearby historic houses. In fact there was a movie being filmed across the street the last time I was here. read more

Greatest thing about living in the historical Lincoln park district is taking advantage of all the great things that can be accomplished. Months in the planning & thanks to councilwoman Paula Lantz, Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition, & the Fox theater to host the 1st movie night at the park. This park was beautiful. I took my kids today and we had a great time. It's located in the historic part of Pomona near very beautiful homes. The playground area was nice and clean. The park was also very clean and landscaped nicely. I would recommend this park to families with children. read more

Lovely neighborhood with beautifully preserved historic homes, friendly people and a real sense of community. Strong, connected neighborhood watch not only helps keep the streets safe, but keeps an eye on the park. Bathrooms are closed during the week in order to keep them safe and clean for weekend park goers. read more

Easily the most beautiful park in Pomona, at the center of the most beautiful neighborhood. It's small, but loaded with large sycamore and oak to provide plenty f shade. Perfect for both small picnics and family get-togethers, or just to read. Playground for the kids... a lot better (i.e., safer) equipment than when I was younger. read more

This is a gorgeous park however, it is in a not so great neighborhood. I have never had a bad experience at this park though. If you go, make sure to admire the surrounding houses because they are immaculate. read more

This park is beautiful, especially because it is in the middle of all these gorgeous historic homes and tree-lined streets. It really feels like an oasis here. And there's even a couple of wild peacocks roaming the streets - what a lovely sight to see! Lots of people going for walks or walking their dogs, families and children.
