There's a lot of seating throughout and you should be able to find a quiet spot. They have the newer self checkout kiosks now so you don't have to chit chat if that's not your thing. The librarians do seem friendly though. The cafe isn't open past 6 on any day but it seems to have sandwiches, soups and baked goods; there are a few tables to sit as well. Received a call a day after placing two DVDs on hold that informed me they were available for…read morepickup. The woman explained the procedure, which was very nice and served as a reminder since I had already reviewed the policy on retrieving items during the pandemic. I called the front desk after I had parked my car in one of the designated pickup spots. I told her my name and make of my car and then went to open the back door of my SUV. She came out, and I stuck my driver's license and library card up to the window so she could verify my identity. She gave me a thumbs up, placed the DVDs in the trunk and asked whether I wanted her to close the door or not. It was a nice thing to offer but I didn't think it made sense for me to open the door and for her to close it so I told her I would close it. Let's hope the return is smooth too!

Tons of books of all kinds. Even movies and video games. The kids section here is amazing with toys and other activities to play with.
