There's a lot of seating throughout and you should be able to find a quiet spot. They have the newer self checkout kiosks now so you don't have to chit chat if that's not your thing. The librarians do seem friendly though. The cafe isn't open past 6 on any day but it seems to have sandwiches, soups and baked goods; there are a few tables to sit as well. Parking lot is large and shared with the municipal building. An easy walk into town for food and shopping.

We were pleasantly surprised to see a large audience gather that day at a library. Also, the room where the performance took place was really nice and the sound was good there - impressive for a library. I looked at their website a few days prior to the performance and saw that there's a lot of great programming at PPL. Paramus has a really nice public library - what a great resource for the community!

Today, we spent almost 4+ hours here & I needed to convince my kiddies to leave. I love coming here in the summer to keep my kiddies off the screen! This event occurs only two days out of the week...Mondays, from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM and Tuesdays, from 10:00 AM - Noon. When you enter the library, make your way to the upstairs loft and that's where you'll see the opportunity to purchase literature and items that'll be humongous bargains. I couldn't believe the prices and the vast selection that you'll peruse. If you need any assistance, or have any questions, staff members are more than helpful and very knowledgeable. Try to visit this loft, soon. I'm certain, that you'll find something worth buying and enjoy rummaging through their many nostalgic merchandise.

There are several seating areas, some with desks for working, some small rooms for group study, and club chairs to relax in. Fully half of the library is dedicated for children's books, which seems appropriate for the neighborhood. Free wifi is a nice perk.
