i have booked with Debra a few times and followed her to Lincoln Salon & Spa after her other salon closed. my sister was looking for a new stylist and was in need of a haircut and i recommended Debra. I booked an appointment for myself for Friday at 4:30 and my sister booked 8:30 on Saturday. i received a text from Debra on Friday late morning saying that she needed to reschedule my appointment, i replied asking her when she wanted to reschedule and gave her stipulations to my own availability. she asked if i could come in on Saturday, i replied that i couldn't because of another appointment. there was no reply from Debra, but i decided to give her a couple of days before asking again(in case of an emergency). my sister continued to receive reminder emails and texts about her appointment the next day. my sister is 6 months pregnant and drove 30+ minutes from Sacramento. when she arrived on time to her 8:30 appointment, she was told by the other ladies there that Debra no showed her 7 AM appointment and probably won't show to the 8:30. the ladies were not apologetic that my pregnant sister drove so far. they gave her Debra's number. my sister called and texted a few times and gave her 30 minutes before she ended up leaving. this is wholly unprofessional and i am embarrassed that i recommended my sister. i WILL not be rebooking, and neither will my sister. read more

I've had Tiffany do my acrylic gel nails here for a year, and she is truly fantastic. By far the best nail tech I've ever gone to. Tiffany is kind, gentle, very thorough, highly detailed, great at communicating, punctual, and just does beautiful work. Today she did amazing Christmas themed nails for me, and I love them! I went to Lincoln Salon based on a recommendation from a friend. I have been feeling a bit low lately and was looking for a bit of a 'pick-me-up' haircut. I have thinning hair that I color at home - I was a little embarrassed to have a salon see me but my friend said Billie was amazing so I booked an appointment. Wow. Just Wow. Not only is the aesthetic of the space gorgeous but what an experience! Like walking into a high-end spa at a hotel... I was blown away by the 'white glove' service! Starting with the coffee and treat/chocolate bar right at the front door (what more could a gal need to chillax into a hair appointment), I was met by a super friendly team at the front desk. My stylist, Billie whisked me away to her workspace which was well-lit and very comfortable. Some salons I've been to are just a cacophony of noise and dark areas where I never feel like I can a) relax-think-hear and/or b) see what is happening to my hair until I'm done and already outside. So, beyond the space, Billie was just amazing. It was not just a cut-and-done appointment flip. I genuinely felt like I was her only client that day. I never felt rushed and when we discussed my haircut, we KEPT discussing it through each stage and even went back and took more off. I didn't ever feel like I was STUCK with what we had originally agreed to do. Billie gave me every opportunity to weigh in on the cut while still being a confident, educated expert in her craft. I loved it. Even the shampoo area was relaxing; high-end furnishings and thoughtful designs that focused on client comfort were everywhere in this salon. I can't wait to go back. read more

My daughter decided she wanted to get a pedicure. I walked in the pedicure section and ask the a person sitting a desk if they could do a pedicure. When you go into a salon excited to get your hair done and spend an exorbitant amount of money for a simple color and come out Har(d)ly believing your hair dresser says "I didn't know there was chemistry involved in coloring- I would have studied it more in high school" and your end result is a hot mess and 100% opposite of what you wanted. The looks of despair from other hairdressers was proof. Don't hire hair dressers to represent your salon that don't know what they are doing. My hair was like a brillo pad when I went to see her. I felt my last stylist was skimping on quality hair products and conditioners.
