Mr Champagne told me once "he never came back so I thought it stopped". He never once addressed the issue with the students involved. Now my other son is being severely bullied. Just the other day some students took his project and smashed it and ran over it with there vehicle while he watched. All this has yet again has been reported with no action being taken. I would discourage anyone from sending there children there. The only thing they'll learn is fear and depression..

I was challenged, inspired, and encouraged throughout my journey there in ways I wouldn't have been in a traditional high school. The health services shop is exceptional and precise. The extracurricular and skillsusa competitions are a great add-on. The teachers truly truly care about the success of each student and how they learn individually. In my class, cliques weren't so much of an issue and everyone pretty much got along. It felt safe and was a comfortable environment to learn and grow in. I run a non-profit. We rent office space in the UTI Campus Building. So I have no affiliation with them except for that. But every day I see the employees, the teachers, teh students, and teh facilities, and it is IMPRESSIVE! Students? Well, yes, you may not always get the 'cream of the crop', but you get some great smart minds. But what is more impressive? They are courteous, dressed neatly, clean and well mannered. The school stresses this after all. they want to make sure to teach you how to be the most presentable to potential employees! Facilities? Well, UTI is a national Trade school. Basically, auto and diesel mechanics (in other parts of the country, they also have body shops, etc). But you can go through the 51 week program with all you need to land a job. And not just an entry level job doing oil changes, but more. it doesnt just teach basics. FORD has their FACT advanced training program here. Nissan and Infiniti as well. Mercedes does their STAR program here, and the big trucks and diesel area is AMAZING - I am impressed to say the least. staff? They seem to care. Even one of the front desk receptionists is working on a project to help the students learn how to study better. They work with job placement, they teach great programs, and everyone is great and friendly. I was in the Cosmetology Program, and still continue to work in the field today. Bay Path gives a student multiple opportunities for a broader range of skills, not to mention that you can, and should continue with a higher education. It doesn't matter where you go to school or what you study, it is up to the individual themself to put in the effort needed to succeed. Bay Path gave me many life skills, including a technical skill, that has taken me where I am today. We all need to find our passion in life; I still love to wake up everyday knowing that I am doing what I love to do. Find your passion in life and chase it, give yourself a reason to want to get out of bed every day. When you love what you do, it isn't a "job", it is a "career"!! I promote Bay Path to any student entering high school if you aren't sure what you want to do... especially if you are a kinetic learner. One last note... think about which jobs are keeping the most people working-- No one can take away your skill, but many companies have downsized, moved out of state, or even out of the country. The library area is very cozy, and all of their toys and educational supplies are neatly organized, making it easy for folks to look around and explore. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions. They also have a great collection of antique vibrators which are beautifully displayed. I highly recommend checking out the Center for any and all sexuality/gender/women's studies related things. They have an expansive library and an education staff who can point you in the right direction. They also offer monthly workshops, trivia nights, and other fun events. Always a great place to explore and learn!

Megan Andelloux, who runs the Center, is fantastic and will answer absolutely any question you may have. She is really dedicated to keeping this resource open for anyone who wanders in and is not afraid to speak her mind about what she believes. The CSPH is a great addition to The Grant building, and is a great way to put Pawtucket on the map in terms of tourism.
