Note: This business is housed in the same space as Karina's Beauty Spa in Suite #502. Upon check-in, the Grinch-green hair dyed receptionist (wearing a Karina's Beauty Spa badge) was on her cell phone. When I walked up to check in, she couldn't be bothered to put her phone down. She dryly asked if I was there for Comfort Spas. When I replied in the affirmative, she said someone would be with me shortly. The receptionist immediately went back to her phone. However, when a guest arrived for Karina's Beauty Spa, the receptionist immediately put her phone down and perked right up. Clearly, she has no interest in guests of Comfort Spas. Per the website, I arrived 15 minutes early. I sat in the waiting area the entire 15 minutes before the Comfort Spas masseuse greeted me, on her way in from a quick run to CVS. Just before getting started, the masseuse (named Jasmine) asked if I had any pain or other problem areas. While this question may seem like a good one to ask objectively, it let me know that Jasmine had clearly failed to review the required form that I spent 20 minutes completing via her online portal. Seriously , if you have a form as a requirement, then it should be the foundation for discussion with a new client... I purchased a 90-minute hot stone/deep tissue massage. Jasmine was a pleasant person, with generally good technique but she lacked the finesse and strength of more seasoned people who do massages. The room was relatively small and cold. Plus, unlike all past experiences I've had, Jasmine did not use heated oils/lotions. Instead, she used VERY COLD lotion which was anything but relaxing. Quite jarring with each touch. Additionally, she used disposable gloves, so the lotion never had a chance to be warmed in her hands. When Jasmine asked about the pressure, I let her know that I'd like it stronger. Yet, she was not able to sustain anything more than a very light massage. The hot stone portion (used exclusively at the neck and back area) was just ok. Stone use was really just an "honorable mention" since they were used less than 5 minutes out of the 90 minute massage. In my past experiences, the stones have been aligned along the spine and allowed to heat any trouble area(s). The Waiting area décor was aesthetically pleasing, and scented with a candle. The music and colors are calming and help to usher in relaxation. However, the loud ticking clock is not conducive to relaxation. Overall, if you're a person accustomed to stronger massages, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you like a very light touch then this may be for you.

The room was cold. The little heater helped some but not the type of massage in use to. Wasn't offered even a sip of water or tea like normal places after the massage.

I also wanted to see one of the owners properties, because it's been a long time since I visited the place. I found out soon after that Nancy had sold her business to Ms...I don't know her name so we will call her Obnoxio because it was the first name that popped into my head... Ms. Kelly greeted me when I walked inside the duplex. Kelly is a new face for me, but she did a decent job of the massage I got. Her knowledge of the English language is very good from what I heard. There will be no language barrier with her. The massage was nice, but I wonder what was going through her mind when she was giving me the massage? I noticed there was no click timer for the massage, but there is a click on the wall if you can see it while your getting a massage. I would recommend getting clock timers so clients don't feel they are being cheated for their time. Twice during my masssge, my phone rang. Since I was expecting a call, I had to get up once to grab my phone. I dropped my small item was carrying during my massage and Ms. Kelly picked it up before I could grab it. The neck, feet and glutes were my favorite part of the masssge. Once again, the massage hour went by fast, but I left feel better than when I walked in. I wasn't big on the type of massage oil that was used, because it gave off a bad odor to me at least. I would also recommend a non odor massage cream for the clients that come here. Still o give this place a four star rating with the new owner taking over. I hope Obnoxio takes this into consideration for future clients. Oh!, I saw after using the rest room, I saw there is a shower you can use if you tell the masseuse you want to take one before or after the massage. I was able to find out the cost of a one hour massage is $80=1 hour $60=1/2 hour. The woman on the phone told me free shower is included either before or after. During could get a little tricky. A minute later I got pictures of where to go. I was going to be set up with a masseur and at first I wasn't wanting that. Then I said to myself why not. I arrived there and saw a woman in black and pink walkout side. Her boss Mr. Fu contacted very quickly. I walk down the deer painted steps. There are pictures everywhere do I tried to get pictures Mr. Fu did not take. I saw prices of the types of massage and saw that my last reviews suggestions were taken. The lady in pink and black greeted me with a warm smile and asked what kind of service I wanted. Looking at the sign, I saw that if you want the $39 massage, it is without oil. This is not mentioned on Yelp. The difference is ten bucks of you want oil. I must warn you, if you want your feet massaged, Anna of Anna's Massage said I have to pay $70 dallors for that. This sounds shady. I did not learn this till after my massage was done. The massage wasn't the best I have had. I will say the massage was treated in the way it is taught in American and European schools. The feet were skipped and so were the chest and stomach. Three places I have known the most professional of professional wouldn't skip, but who's complaining. Communication with my (in this case) masseuse was very difficult. Anna speak Mandarin with very very little English. I will applaud her efforts in trying to communicate with me. The English language is not easy. The whole experience was not the best massage, but the politeness of Anna and her massage efforts won't go unnoticed. The bathroom decor was a nice touch to hide unused stuff. I specifically asked it was full body, front and back with oil and was told yes. It turned out to be the towel over the back with limited oil on neck and most of the calfs. No oil on whole of backside, and none on front. No massage, with or without oil from shoulders to shins in front. Completely draped, except the feet. Very odd massage. Not the worst, but their massage didn't come close to my expectations of a massage. I do not recommend based on my experience. How unfortunate; price was right.
