The atmosphere is homey and very peaceful, clean and relaxing. Stopped by recently and it was decorated for the holidays - it's a nice touch. Staff will happily provide detailed receipts if needed, for HSA/FSA purposes. Just ask. They provide water and tea to enjoy after your massage. They offer lots of add ons (e.g., CBD, aromatherapy) and it's worth the extra $$$. The massage tables and linens are comfortable. The rooms are dark and so relaxing. Appointment booked this last Sunday and stated to massage therapist, Mr. Farhad, that beside my right neck pain that I didn't want to spend more than 15 minutes on, that I wanted the focus to be on my lower body. Had an appointment on January 11, 2026 and specifically said I'm extremely sore due to over training for a marathon and that my legs and hips were in excruciating pain. Mr. Farhad proceeds to spend 1-1/2 hours of my 2 hr massage on my upper body with me face down that did absolutely nothing accept make my back worse and didn't even focus on my right side of my neck that I'd mentioned at the beginning. Spent 30 minutes on my legs so like 15 minutes per each leg finally allowing me to shift to my back where I was in tears from the 1-1/2 being face down due to the pain on my upper thigh and hips. Even stated to Mr. Farhad that my right thigh and hip was in pain, still did the bare minimum. Also failed to mention that Mr. Farhad 's hairy arms that he drug across the back felt like repeating rug burns, absolutely miserable and hurt. I will recommend against booking an appointment with Mr. Farhad. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Immediately after my appointment I dug through my email and found my prior message that I booked with Kevin At Massage Unique, this guy was a god sent! Booked the appointment same day. He listened and focused on the areas of concern and his technique and knowledge was on another level entirely. I left Emerald Massage Center in more pain that I arrived, needless to say Mr. Farhad messed my back up. Save your money and go see Kevin at Massage Unique you'll thank me later!!! My first massage here was with Amanda who was great, but I just preferred stronger pressure so she referred me to Grady. But not just referred - she offered me the first-timer's discount so I could try his service as well. Definitely didn't need to do that, but I greatly appreciated it. Stateside, I usually get a massage once/month. I saw Grady every week for nine months, only missing when I was out of time. Phenomenal massage each and every time. Even more important - as COVID was raging and it was pre-vaccination days - was the cleanliness and adherence to sanitary precautionary measures. Not once did I feel any anxiety about being there and not once did I ever feel my massage or comfort was being compromised. I could go on and on, but if you can't guess ...
