Pretty soon, I received a response and my requested time was taken (Not unexpected for a request the next day). Karah offered another time that worked well for me. The studio was very easy to find, just outside of Berea "Across the Highway". A very nicely appointed room. Karah and I chatted about wants and expectations. She was very clear and asked the right clarifying questions. She provided a wonderful massage, Identified the issues that had been bothering me, and I walked out an hour later feeling netter than I have in months. I've been getting professional massages for about 30 years, and I'd easily rate Karah's massage in the top 3 or 4 I've gotten.

Chronic pain has a way of making you change your mind about things. I met Brittany when she was studying massage therapy and she needed someone to practice on who would be a challenge. It's one thing to massage a healthy person, it's another to work on individuals with disabilities. Brittany was professional and made sure she understood all the aspects of my medical situation, informative in that she explained what she was going to do and why she would do something in a particular way and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed in a situation where I wasn't expecting to feel comfortable and relaxed. I came away feeling relaxed and revitalized and a believer in the power of massage therapy when done by a true professional. I was sorry when she moved but Ohio's loss is Iowa's gain.
