Disappointing experience
Unfortunately, my experience with this salon was frustrating from the start. I booked after seeing an Instagram promotion for keratin extensions and highlights, but only a few hours before my appointment I was told that the promotion was not actually valid as advertised. After some back and forth, I was offered the service for an additional amount and decided to go ahead.
At the time of my extensions, I was told that I could change the extension method at my maintenance appointment and that maintenance would cost €90.
Three months later, I was told maintenance would now be €130, simply because "prices are always changing." I also received different information about changing the extension method and about the amount of extensions I had.
The problem isn't just the price increase -- it's the lack of clear and consistent communication. I expect a salon to be transparent about prices and services, especially when customers are making a significant investment.
Sadly, based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon.
Update: I'd like to clarify a few points following the manager's response.
My review was never about questioning the salon's right to increase its prices. I fully understand that prices can change. My concern is that I was specifically told that maintenance would cost €90, and three months later I was told it would be €130, with the explanation that "prices are always changing."
I was also specifically told that I could change the extension method at maintenance, and I later received different information about this as well.
Regarding the fact that I continued using the salon: after the initial issue with the advertised promotion, the manager apologised and offered me an alternative solution, which I accepted. Continuing with the service does not mean that I agreed to future changes or that I cannot share my experience afterwards.
This review is not about expecting professional services without paying for them. It is about clear, consistent and transparent communication with customers.
