Okay, so every few years or so I get a tarot card reading or a psychic reading done. I find them interesting/insightful/humorous or just a fun way to spend half an hour. I heard about Linda through word-of-mouth. She does readings at the Moth Hole, a consignment shop in Fair Oaks, every second Saturday from 11:00 - 4:00 or so. For $25 you get 15 minutes. At first I was like, "15 minutes? That's not very long." But she has been doing this for a while (you can tell) and your reading is jam packed. She asks for your birthday and that's about it! I just sat quietly while she gave me a reading. Now I won 't go into detail about what she said (*smile*) but I will say that it was pretty spot on. Future events were about one year out. Linda is a psychic. Let's just say that she described me to the T which is sort of cool albeit eerie. Right when I sat down, she started her magic. It was about a million degrees Fahrenheit in Antelope where I had my future told - in a park not too far from my best friend's residence. She was prompt and very genuine. I should have asked questions! She tells me someone w/ the initials E.B or B.E. will have a long lasting impact on my life. That someone w/ a name starting w/ an "M" will also have an impact on my life. How? I don't know because I did not ask questions. She also mentioned that I need to look after myself; relax. I gripe and sometimes wish I can jump off a bridge but in reality, I am so thankful to be where I am at. Linda is incredible! She is the REAL deal. She spent the entire 30 minutes (plus a few) diving straight into our session. I hate to give a rating like this because of everyone else's outcome with Linda but here goes nothing. I was interested in getting a reading yesterday from Mrs. Schooler because of the impressive experiences of others on Yelp, but my experience, however, was completely pathetic. I drove from South Sacramento to a public park where she wanted to meet out in Roseville only to be turned away after 7 mintues of our session (I know this because of the recording I have). When we first sat down she had a pen and paper, I'm assuming to take notes, but towards the end there was literally nothing but scribbles, probably because she was getting more and more nervous throughout. She started off by asking if I had someone close to me in the cosmetology field and when I said no she was like "well maybe this is something coming up". Then she asked me if I knew a "Bill" and I said no again. She asked if I have someone close to me in LA, and I literally don't. She mentioned a small airport in the Dixon area and if I knew anyone interested in planes out there, and once again I said no" By this time i can tell she began to get flustered. She began stuttering, and said "ask me questions to help me out here", but I didn't have any questions because she hasn't given me any information to go off of. She asked me if I had someone close to me named "David" or "Dave" and you guessed it, I don't. After a few more times of looking like a fake, I said "well, how about anything regarding career". She began telling me I would be going towards Sales and asked if I was interested in that field. My response was "that's a field I am trying to avoid going into". She said she was getting blanks and laughed nervously saying "maybe you don't need a reading today" and "I can't believe I'm not seeing anything because this is what I do for a living" One last time she attempted to say she sees a "Terry" or "Teresa" close to me and if I had a friend with that name. And NOPE, I don't. These are very common names but none of which I have any family or friends with them. After completely embarrassing herself, she said that she couldn't do my reading today. Funny thing is that I recorded the whole thing and laughed listening to it with my friends later that night. Wish I could post it on here! Moral of the story, she made herself look ridiculous and there was no way in hell I paid her because I figured I paid enough in gas to drive out there. First, I want to address the comment made by Lisa C from New York. I was at a place of business for the purpose of meeting with Linda for the very first time. While there, a woman was walking around the store at the same time, and when approached by the staff, Lisa was rude & curt, and told the clerk she was just looking. I immediately got a bad vibe from her. While I was waiting for Linda to come into the room for our meeting, the woman in the store accosted/waylaid Linda in the store and started verbally abusing her. She was loud, rude, and made everyone around her very uncomfortable. She was accusing Linda of telling her brother to stop taking his medicine and accused Linda of ruining her family. Linda repeated over & over again that she never told the woman's brother to stop taking his meds, would never tell anyone to stop taking medication, and continually directed this woman to listen to the tape made at the session. Linda recommends her clients to tape record the sessions to refer back to them. The woman, who I can tell now by her review, was Lisa C. She continued to be abusive, dismissing anything Linda had to say, she was verbally attacking & threatening her with comments like "I know where you live", which was obviously upsetting Linda, & making others in the store quite uncomfortable. This went on for at least 10 minutes. My thoughts are, what kind of a person would waylay someone in a public place, the way Lisa C did. She had access to Linda's phone number to make an appointment, and there is a room specifically set up for Linda to meet with client's. If she had a valid issue, why not set up an appointment and discuss it behind closed doors, like a mature, rational adult. Only a bully, or a person with significant issues of their own, behaves in this manner. Needless to say, Linda was too upset to do a reading for me, but being the kind soul she is, she did see me a week later. Kristin's comments are sooooo true. Linda is kind, insightful, and OMG has a God Given talent. She & I never discussed anything about my life before we met, but she knew names of towns I lived in, where my daughter lived, that my husband who just began therapy on his left knee was having problems with his left leg. She knew my mother in laws name, that I just lost a dog, the town I am starting a educational course in, that someone in Oregon has offered me a partnership in a wellness business. Linda is amazing! I was very skeptical prior to doing a walk in reading locally. She asked for my first name and date of birth and told me details about my life that very few people know. Career wise, she told me an opportunity would come my way very soon and a week later I was promoted. She could name off close members in my life by their first names. She also said that one of my friends (using his first name) was near a lake, and I told her I was not aware of his location at the time since I had not spoken to him. People with bad reviews possibly aren't open minded and perhaps that's why you get bad readings, but people must remember that they just glimpses of things and have to try and interpret it. It was my gf's birthday and she wanted to get a reading. We were a party of 4 and was able to get a last minute appt booked on a Saturday. I've had a handful of readings in the past and felt her pricing was reasonable. $30/15 minutes. Some people may think its a waste of time/money, but it was worth hearing the validation. There were a few things that didn't make immediate sense, but was very insightful. I like that she allows you to record the session so that you could play it back at anytime. I have had several readings with Linda and there were things said that I totally understood right away and many many things that made no sense at the time. Nothing connected at the time. My experience with her readings have been spot on in regard to my past and present life. She records the session on a cassette tape and this is her gift to you.
