Do not use this service. Wish I would've read reviews beforehand- it's been 8 months and I CANNOT get my drapes back- it's one excuse after another. Linda altered the length of my prom dress. She fit me right into her schedule with short notice! The process took less than 2 weeks! I can say with 100% certainty that you won't find a greater value anywhere else! I called many tailors in my area, and Linda was the best option! read more

Linda was great! I got the halter of my dress tightened and about three inches taken off at the bottom and she charged $55! She's kind and offers suggestions if you need guidance. She also goes the extra mile to ensure quality work. Took a little longer than usual but without her other jobs she got it complete in about a week. Overall, I would go back! read more

My one and only experience with Linda was a disaster! Left a dress for alterations and a year later I still have no dress!! She said I had to have picked it up because she couldn't find it. If I had picked the dress up I wouldn't have tried to contact her numerous times throughout the past year!!! Last conversation we had I was told she would send me $80 to reimburse me for the "damn" dress!!! When I attempted to leave my address so she could mail me the reimbursement, low and behold her mailbox was full and was unable to leave my information!!!! I took two pairs of expensive jeans in to be shortened. I worn the heels that I would normally wear with jeans. With the jeans on, the lady measured and pinned exactly where I wanted them. When I went to pick up the jeans they were much shorter than measured. I couldn't wear them. The owner offered for me to pick two pairs from the stacks she had on various tables. They were all poor quality jeans that I might wear to clean the barn. Please do not go to Linda's unless you want to risk having your item ruined. read more

I have been going to Linda for 30 years. I have always found her prices reasonable, and the work exemplary. She has a lot of customers so turn around may be a bit slow, particularly at prom and traditional wedding times. I think that is to be expected, and I try to plan accordingly. Having moved out of the area for about 10 years, and trying to find other alterations, only made me realize what a gem she was. I don't know what circumstances surrounded these poor reviews, but I have never been disappointed. read more

Linda hemmed my dress quickly, in a week; but the hem on my long dress was a little shorter in the back. Also, her prices are a little high. She charged $25 for a hem. Will try to find someone cheaper in the future. read more
