Cool location in a small town. Lots of interesting trinkets, books, musical instruments around the store. Looks like they may have an open mic night or some type of live music at times. I liked their menu but each drink had something I didn't love in it like coconut flavor or something (I'm picky) so I just made my own 4 shots of espresso with white mocha latte... it was perfect! She made it quick and was incredibly helpful... even asked me to try it to make sure it was what I was wanting. read more

My family and friends are visiting Lamoni, IA for a graduation and stopped by this wonderful little Coffeehouse. This is such a welcoming and pleasant place to eat. The owner/waitress Tabor and the male helper were very kind and helpful. Plus the food was ridiculously delicious. We order the Ham and Swiss Panini, Bacon and Onion quiche, & the Grill Cheese with Tomato soup. Every thing was made to perfection. Been wanting to try the coffee at Linden Street Coffeehouse since my son attended Graceland University as a freshman in the fall of 2021. Based on the YELP reviews our group of 5 ordered the Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, NY grilled chess sandwich (a spinach cream cheese sauce), traditional grilled cheese sandwich, ham and cheese panini, Salty professor, chai tea, cold mocha, house dark roast coffee. All dishes served in neat wire baskets and house coffee served in your choice of mug or take out cup. Memorable items: Coleslaw side order was wonderfully prepared, red and white cabbage was sliced a little on the think side that provided a beautiful crunch and the vinaigrette dressing was very tasty. Turkey/cranberry sauce sandwich was very refreshing. Well complimented with a cup of homemade tomato soup. Service was exquisite being greeted by Bruce at the counter. Definitely will be back for another meal and welcome feeling. Ample street parking and a rustic decor with homemade craft items for sale. pretty much what is expected when coffee-ing in central america: adults talking too loudly about personal stuff I don't need to know, adolescents bemoaning their current financial crises over five-dollar iced frappalottas, and me trying to write postcards sipping on some straight black... park anywhere out front and come on in, make your way back to the back to request foods (baked goods, soup, sandwiches, and such) or beverage (lots options...) and it will all arrive at your table shortly unless you just want regular coffee or water which are urned over on the sideboard to the right in the land of self-service (free-fills work the same.) sparse furnishings could use a touch of whimsy after the manner of a provencal trailer park but with less surrendering, more prune danish, and maybe a shuffleboard. tables and chairs can be moved around to accommodate groups but try not to leave it mussed. staff are generally low key and helpful which is always a plus. I mostly like it here because my friends like it here: generally comfortable sound levels and seating; two sizes of scones that are appropriately crumby; the basic coffee that is good and hot and black and abundant. read more

Everything was delicious. My roast beef sandwich came with a side and drink. I tried an iced tea which was flavorful and not too sweet. We also got homemade tomato soup which was really tasty as well. The staff was friendly and there was a nice seating area inside. We got lunch to go and everything was packaged up nice. I hve driven hours out of my way to visit Lindin St Coffee House! Their mint chocolate brownies are excellent, and never leave me feeling dissapointed. Totally worth the drive every time! It's been several years since I've eaten anything other than the mint chocolate brownies, but I did like their food when I had eaten there. After driving through the night I was excited to find this quaint coffee shop. However, the nice atmosphere couldn't make up for the rude treatment I received. Whether it was my ethnicity, or my request for a custom drink, or simply that she was having a bad day, the owner was very hostile and rude. I have never been treated so horribly as a customer.
