I just moved to Bernardsville, and had spent the past few months before looking for someone to clean my brother-in-law's military Marine's hat after it went through the unfortunate fire at his house. Check out the attached before and after. Linders was also honest when I dropped it off, stating they might not be able to pull it off and the risks. The results really surprised me and the look on my brother-in-law's face, priceless. I have been going to Linders since 1970s. In 1986 I took my wedding dress for cleaning/storage. In 2021 my daughter was getting married and wanted to see if my dress would work. I went to the attic and it was still in a Linders box. The dress was perfect! Not yellowed, not damaged in any way. Amazing! But my best story of Linders excellence is a recent trip with a very expensive heavy sweater (Faherty brand) to alter it in a practical way for me. The sweater was special in that my son gave to me so I love it and wanted to wear it but it was an over the head not a cardigan. Linders did an outstanding job by converting it to a cardigan with the perfect color zipper and a top quality tailoring work. Bravissimi Linders. You are the BEST dry cleaners in NJ! read more

I'm impressed. Outside the box solution to fix a puncture hole in my favorite down jacket - no problem for the pro's at Linder's. They took a small label from the inside and sewed it over the unrepairable hole. Bonus points that owner took pride in delivering superior customer service. read more

My stepmom got a recommendation for here but so far, I haven't seen why. They offer shoe repair offsite so I had her take in a pair of sandals that needed some tlc and told her what needed to be done. When I got them back, only the heel had been replaced, but neither the straps nor the leather itself was addressed, which is precisely why I wanted them taken in. After I pointed out the lack of fulfilling what I asked for, they told me that the $30 paid was only for the heels, and that I would need to pay extra for the straps. Instead of trying to remedy the situation, I told them I would be taking my shoes elsewhere and they did nothing to fix things. Every time I go in here, the staff is neither friendly nor helpful. Never happy to help no matter what you're bringing in. Overpriced too. read more

Friendly helpful staff. Delivery and pickup isn't as dependable but it's free so I can't complain. Items are never missing or damaged.

Linders will find any way possible to squeeze a few extra dollars out of their customers. If you find a mistake on your bill and contact the manager, it will require at least two calls to receive the proper credit to your account. There are plenty of other reputable dry cleaners in the area who deserve our business. read more

OMG. Can't get over other review. Linder's does excellent work and they are so nice. The staff is very professional and very knowledgeable. The owner talked me through a difficult re-weaving issue, and actually talked me out of an expensive repair that would not be able to live up to my expectations.
