I brought in a few linen blouses that fit me perfectly, and when I got them back, they were visibly stretched out and no longer wearable. Linen is delicate, but this level of damage is unacceptable. What made things worse was the complete lack of accountability. When I pointed out the issue to the owner, instead of trying to help or even acknowledge the possibility of a mistake, she raised her voice, started yelling at me and insisted that I brought the blouses in in that condition- which is simply not true. Now, in addition to paying $25 for cleaning one blouse and $30 for another one, I am left with having to purchase new blouses because of her lack of accountability. Good customer service goes a long way, especially when something goes wrong. Is there a single business out there that leaves their registers completely unmanned? The owner seems inattentive, unfocused, and bothered by customers being there. She seems to be focused on chatting away with the people behind the store front. Everyone who is at the registers tries to get you to leave quickly, but they take forever to even come to the front, if they even realize you are there at all. There are obviously more people in the back, because when there is a line, more people appear. Why do they wait for the store to be packed full to appear? Why are there two or three of us waiting for one person at the register, when there are clearly more people in the back, just chatting away? Why is it that not a single person employed at this store (with one exception) seems to know where anything is? Every time, whether it is my order or someone next to me, they have to check the camera for something. Is nobody keeping track of anything? The only good person there is the older tall gentleman with graying hair that shows up occasionally to the register. He seems to know where everything is and will always smile. Hopefully he is the owner's husband, because he seems to be the only one that can do anything.

I went to the attic and it was still in a Linders box. The dress was perfect! Not yellowed, not damaged in any way. Amazing! But my best story of Linders excellence is a recent trip with a very expensive heavy sweater (Faherty brand) to alter it in a practical way for me. The sweater was special in that my son gave to me so I love it and wanted to wear it but it was an over the head not a cardigan.
