I'll start out by saying I LOVE the PA I go to here for annual skin checks. She's amazing…read more However, I purchased a 4 pack micro needling package last winter (for almost $1300). The esthetician that was doing them was awesome. We did 3 treatments before summer, at which point we talked about waiting to finish the last treatment until after summer when I would be out of the sun. I recently called to schedule this appointment and they said the esthetician was no longer there and their policy was that these packages had to be used within 180 days of purchase. Not only was this never brought up when I discussed waiting until after summer, but the office couldn't do anything to compensate me for the lost appointment. 180 days isn't even long enough for someone with sensitive skin to get 4 micro needling appointments in with appropriate healing time between. I will not be going back here for esthetician work or for my normal dermatology appointments.

I have been to another dermatologist and this one gave a visual exam from about 4ft away My boyfriend went today and was told to arrive 30 mins early. He arrived at 2:30, appt at 3, wasn't even taken back till 4pm. We overheard the nurse outside the door to the doctor say "he's just a quick one he's super young" the doctor then came in and barely gave an exam then once he said his sister had melanoma removed the doctor responded with "oh" and then gave an actually thorough exam. He had concern and discomfort with. Couple of spots and a few were acknowledged while the others were ignored. I had many people recommend this place but I wouldn't ever recommend this place.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR CARE! The care that I received here was utterly abysmal. I was…read morereferred to this office by their East Liverpool office regarding a small skin lesion on my breast because the lesion was just a tad bit larger than the PA could remove, so she sent me here to see a doctor. I was told that they would do a simple excision of the site and send it off for testing. When I arrived, that's exactly what they said that they were going to do. While I was numbed up and unable to really see what the physician's assistant was doing, she took it upon herself to perform an exploratory surgery and remove a dermatofibroma down to the fat tissue. That is absolutely NOT the procedure that I agreed to. She chose to practice her surgical skills on me and took it upon herself to perform a completely unnecessary surgery without informed consent. That is not only malpractice but medical battery! There was nothing sterile about the procedure, resulting in me acquiring a deep tissue infection (cellulitis). The scar that I now have to live with is far more unsightly than the harmless dermatofibroma that she took it upon herself to cut me open and remove. Also, the purpose of me even going to this office was to see a doctor. I never saw one, I was treated by his physician's assistant, Lindy Knight. I had assumed that she was the doctor because she didn't even bother to introduce herself. I truly feel that she saw a black woman and ignorantly assumed that I wasn't educated enough to know my rights as a patient. I was used as a lab rat for this physician's assistant to practice on. When I called to speak with the manager of this office, she was very uncaring, and acted as if she saw absolutely nothing wrong with the malpractice that occurred in that office.

I followed care directions but sent a message through the portal at 9 days (a Wednesday), with a photo, stating I was concerned about the incision site. No one contacted me. On day 11, a Friday, I phoned to follow up and shared that it was looking worse. They could not find my message, even though I can see it on my end. The nurse had me send another photo; her response was, "Hm, it does look a little angry," and she said she was sending it to the doctor so I could have information before the weekend. Crickets. The next morning, I went to urgent care, where I was diagnosed with a significant bacterial infection and put on a strong antibiotic and very specific care instructions. I was told I was a high risk for sepsis and a blood clot, and there was no certainty that this particular antibiotic would work. It helped, but not enough, so now I'm on my second antibiotic for treatment and am still restricted in my activities. I was told that stitches in this part of the body should not be in for more than 7 days. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The stitches were in too long, and TWICE I contacted them with concerns, and they did not respond to provide basic patient care. The photo you see is the same photo they were given.
