This is not a coffee place, so they do their best to make a good drink but if you are a coffee enthusiast, this is not the place. My kids and I always love visiting here. They have a lot of varieties available including some seasonal. I appreciate that they have the dairy free options in store. The store is always clean and well stocked. The people working are always friendly. My only complaint is the pricing. It's just so expensive. read more

For me, its just a little over 40 minutes away drive and basically it is well worth the trip. While my heart belongs to another chocolate candy manufacturer, Lindt is a VERY close second. Like other stores, they do sell the usual truffles (at the entrance) as well as specialty truffles like the Mozart next to the wall and bar chocolate products along the wall. Depending on the time of year, there are sale/promotions of up to 50% off original pricing if you do not mind eating Holiday chocolates in January or Easter products in May for example. The staff here do not hover over you like a few of the other stores which for me is a plus. If you have their free rewards card after $100 in purchases they load $5.00 credit. While that's not much, its something! This location does offer a "coffee bar" as well, but I have never had anything from it. I got visit here again for the first time in quite a while. I made two mixed bags of truffles. One bag of their classic truffles and one bag of the fancy European truffles because they were on sale. Here are the flavors I got.... European Roulettes Cookies - This one had a dark chocolate shell with cookies and a soft, dark chocolate interior. Believe me when I say this one is super dark and rich - loved it! Mozartkugeln Milk - This one has two soft layers and a hazelnut sandwiched between. This certainly has a very strong flavor of marzipan. There's also a hazelnut layer that's super delicious - I wish there were more of it! I'd probably skip this one next time. Doppio Latte - This one is a skinny rectangular shape. I have to the say that the latte flavor didn't really come through at all for me. In fact, it mostly reminded me of a Cadbury bar. Fioretto Cappuccino - This one had a crunch dark chocolate exterior and great coffee flavored and soft interior. So good! I will definitely get this one again! Almond Cremino - These are soft little truffles that have no hard shell. So be aware that they can melt easily! I didn't think the almond flavor came through - in fact, I thought it tasted more like hazelnut. But it was nice. Hazelnut Cremino - This one also doesn't have a shell. It basically tasted the same as the almond, but with a much stronger hazelnut flavor. Raspberry Vanilla - Woah! This is definitely a new favorite!!! Inside the chocolate shell are two layers - one of vanilla cream and one of a raspberry jam. It struck the perfect balance of tang, sweet and rich! Classic Truffle Caramel Sea Salt - I remembered my husband being a fan of this flavor. But I have to say that while I thought it was nice, I didn't find it to have much of a salty sweet flavor and so it really didn't do it for me. Mangoes & Cream - So good! Perfect balance of cream to tang. Definitely will get again! Milk Orange - This one was just as balanced and awesome. I want more! Butter Pecan - This one was actually the freebie they had at the counter. I was happy to give it a try as I would never pick it out on my own. But it totally ended up being one of my favorites! It didn't have any actual pecans inside. Simply the creamy center that tasted like caramelized butter pecans!!! Cappuccino - This one is very forward on the flavor of white chocolate while the cappuccino flavor takes a back seat. So I definitely prefer the Fioretto. I can't wait to go back for my favorites and maybe try something new on my next visit!! read more

There was a very busy shop today, but only one of the employees could be bothered with the customers. The other, an older man in a black sweater, puttered around filling already full candy bins. When we asked about getting hot chocolate, which has always had a separate line, the man rudely told us that we had to get in the main line because it is like any other product. We had been waiting at the beverage counter for 10 minutes and the other line had doubled in that time. A normal manager ( I assume that's who he is, the other employee had an apron) would have alerted customers so they would not be inconvenienced, but clearly service is not a priority for him. This place has the best chocolate! I live the European section, there's so much stuff you can't get in a regular grocery store. OMG, try the bark too, I looooove the blueberry bark! Horrible customer service. My family and I (fyi we are Asian) were ignored and mistreated by the employee. When we walked in, we were neither greeted nor given samples like everyone else. The customers who walked in 5 seconds later behind us were greeted and given samples, and so were the customers behind them. When we were checking out, the cashier was unfriendly to us. We ended up deciding not to buy the chocolates even though we really love them. This happened last year as well, so this is not the first time. Last year when this happened, we thought it might have just been an accident. However, this year, the employees were different and the same exact situation happened. Does not even deserve one star. Horrible customer treatment. Went there to get a bag of chocolate for their holiday special and thanks to unclear instructions filled the bag. One employee with a strong european accent SNATCHED the bag out of my hands, ran off with it, weighed it then came back announcing it had too many in front of the ENTIRE STORE like I was a criminal for following instructions. Then she dumped out my bag to fit the "fill line" that somehow only she knew about which was not on the signs. Just DUMPED it out. Then gave it back and demanded that I pay. My mom and I stopped in the Lindt outlet the other night knowing we wanted to use their truffles for the favors at my October wedding. We were not disappointed! They offered us chocolate from a variety of baskets and, upon finding out our large purchase was for my wedding, they pretty much let us try whatever we wanted. They have some good deals. 5 bags of 75 truffles for 75 bucks. Plus we scored a few clearance bags. I tried to pick flavors we liked but also wrapper colors to go with the wedding colors. We wound up with a wide variety of purples and oranges and other fall-like colors. I personally enjoyed the chocolate/coffee truffle. We bought over 400 truffles and the staff was super helpful about everything. The candy is delicious and the staff there was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely go back here and get fat. I absolutely love this company. Or should I say, LOVED. You guys have such amazing chocolate and usually such amazing staff. Over the past Holiday season I went in to purchase gifts for friends and family in multiple visits. In all of my years of coming to this store I have never been treated so poorly multiple times. So where do I start. Maybe I should first compliment the good, your chocolate and branding is amazing and so are a lot of your staff. The 2 pleasantly plump girls are always very nice and bubbly and are always helpful. On this particular day of my December visits however there was a heavier girl with brown and blonde hair with a big gaping hole in her work shirt and an older gentleman who were both just behind the counter and talking to each other. When I asked a question I got a short answer and they didn't seem like they could be bothered. The older gentleman I overheard telling the girl how he had a conference call with a new boss who he said was unqualified to manage him and barely able to sell video games (whatever that means) and they both laughed and he went to the back and she was on her phone and couldn't be bothered. As a customer I've always got great service but this man and this lady truly didn't like how the company was being ran and that's something a customer should never hear. [description: older man, 40 years or older, in normal blue dress shirt and tan dress pants,wasn't wearing an apron] so this has never happened to me in all the years I've been here. But just last week I went in to check in on the holiday clearance items and then a new guy I've never seen was working, he starting off great, but then shortly started to retreat behind the counter, where he went on to ramble to a younger blonde teen boy all about his personal life and how his wife was caught in bed with another man. I was mortified because I have my daughter and son with me. He was talking about all the grimy details of that situation and about his old war stories. NEVER COMING BACK to a company I always truly loved and had my whole family fall in love with to. I'll be making my own advent calendars this year. I'd rather my kids not be traumatized.
