I read an online article about Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop and thought what a great place to visit after a birthday dinner out celebrating my husband's 70th birthday. We invited family and friends to join us and it did not disappoint! We had the best time reminiscing over all our favorite childhood candies and sodas! A huge wall full of them! They offered endless goodies that we hadn't seen in a long while and were excited to see once again, making each of us feel "like a kid in a candy store". They offer a nice selection of ice cream too! The store was clean, well stocked, and the lady working was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back! read more

I would LOVE to give no stars. I have been trying to get a Christmas tree milkshake for a long time! I went in once they were out of milk the last four or five times the same gentleman told me I can't have one due to the milkshake machine being sanitized. He told me if I come more than 15 minutes before closing I can have one. Today I showed up 35 minutes before closing and got told he already sanitized the milkshake machine meanwhile the family of four before us had ice cream and milkshakes. read more

Stopped in for the first time because they had $1 root beer floats...my son loves them & cheerfully came along with me & my husband. They also have some great ice cream flavors that I would like to try. Their candy selection is second to none but I was drawn to their huge selection of bottled soda pops with sugar (no HFCS here). My husband bought me Vintage Lip Licking lip balm-watermelon flavor (pricey at $5.95) but it took me back to my teen years when I was never without it! Candy, candy, and more candy! Oh the nostalgia! If you want all the old school candy and soda your heart can desire, this is the store for you. This is a fun store with all the old school vibes. You name about any candy and I'm sure it is there. They even have ice cream for cups and cones. My little heart smiled when I walked in and saw all of the candy I grew up on. They even have what is called Grandpa Joe's $5 Candy Buffet. I surely participated in this! It's where you get a box and fill it up with all the candy that can fit from a certain section in the store and it's $5. The only rule is the lid must close. Man oh man, my lid closed, but barely! Lol! It was fun and even more interesting to see how much candy I could stuff in this box. Definitely, go by Grandpa Joe's and experience all the nostalgic vibes! read more

Great place, FANTASTIC ice cream and thousands of sodas. They even sell edible cookie dough by the scoop! Service was great as she showed us her favorite root beers and why. Our friends ended up purchasing $90 worth of bulk candy as the prices were way better than Sams club. You can buy candy cigarettes by the case too : ) Will definitely return. Great place! read more

Wow! This place is pretty much like walking into that candy store from Willie Wonka. I'm not sure I've ever been in the presence of so much candy in my life. They carry almost everything. Candy from foreign counties. Childhood favorites you may have forgotten. They even sell what appears to be rare sodas and ice cream cones In the back, they have a bulk candy area and little boxes that you can fill to the brim, anything at all, for $5. I loaded up on Now & Laters, Jelly nougats, and chocolate. The cashier kindly encouraged me to add more to my box cause she detected there was still some space!
