After shopping here, I'll try to stay away from buying Lindt in pharmacies as it was wonderful experience. The staff and manager were really sweet. The variety is sooooo much better than in store and you'll definitely end up spending more than you expect but all good ;-) Check them out when you're in the downtown area.

Such a nice little treat, this place! Super cute and so cool to have all these flavours in one place! I had to convince myself to not buy one of literally every Lindt chocolate ball! Their chocolate is amazing, it melts in your mouth and the type of treat that makes you think it was worth the calories! I also like that they always give you a free Lindt chocolate while you're there! Aside from the chocolate balls you can also get chocolate bars or chocolate letters / numbers, which can be a cool little gift! They also have a coffee menu, so you can either get something like a Mocha or hot chocolate. I recommend their Classic milk Iced Mocha, it was sooo good! You will not be disappointed. I also got the hot chocolate (milk) on another ocasion and it wasn't as satisfying as the Mocha!

Great location Clean and organized boutique. This is my second favourite shop besides the one in Paris. Staffs uniforms are great and they're all so helpful.

A bag of ~100 handpicked Lindt chocolate truffles on special for $30+taxes

There was a recent 60% off for 100 hand picked Lindt chocolate truffles ($30 for 100 was the stated sale) so I decided to drop by this store again since I really enjoy Lindt chocolates. Normally I will buy a box of 150 which is advertised as "55% off" but this is the amount off their already inflated prices when you compare the price to what you can get for the same chocolates at a pharmacy or a store like Walmart/Costco. The only difference being that you get to pick your own variety at the Lindt store. Upon entering the store, I was given a Lindt truffle to try. The store was very crowded/busy as there were a lot of people at the chocolate truffle bins due to the 60% off sale. I asked about the 60% off sale since I saw a card next to the bin which indicated that it was 50% off for 100 and 55% off for 150 and was told that I would be given a special bag to fill up. I started to count the truffles as I put them in the bag but the lady told me that I just need to fill it to the top while still enabling the bag to be closed with the tie wraps which were part of the bag. I filled up the bag with the Lindt truffle varieties that I liked and then paid for it. The lady weighed the bag and then informed me that it was $30+taxes. Unlike during my last visit, I didn't see/notice the weight on the scale this time. I paid with my credit card and got my bill. Looking at the bill, I saw that the price was actually over $30 ($38.99) and they deducted $8.99 from the bill giving a grand total of $34.49 after taxes ($1.50 GST and $2.99 PST). When I got back to work, I counted the truffles that I had in my bag and I had a bit more than 100. The thing that I don't like about the Lindt stores is that they overcharge on their chocolate truffles in their bulk bins for the luxury of being able to pick which truffles you want but I believe that this is the same as any chocolate store that also sells their product in retail stores (like the M&Ms store in Las Vegas or the Hershey's store in Las Vegas). I also don't like that they advertise their truffle sales by the piece but consumers actually pay by the weight.

Such a friendly store. Whenever I go to the Eaton center I stop by this place to see if there is any discount on the dark chocolates. And most of the times I am greeted with free chocolate!

I've been to Montreal many times, and have walked around where this shop is, but never actually noticed Candylabs. I only discovered them when my brother and sister-in-law got me 2 packs of candies from them as part of my Christmas present. The candies they got me were so cute. They were shaped like little sushi rolls and even came with mini chopsticks, lol. The ones that looked like Futomaki were strawberry-kiwi flavour. The ones that looked like Salmon Maki were grapefruit flavoured. The candies were crunchy and really tasty! And so cute! In addition to their bricks and mortar store in Montreal, they sell their candies online as well, which is how my brother and sister-in-law bought them. I went to their website, and the candies are a bit pricey, like the sushi candy bags are $6.99 each. However, they are handmade and they source most of their ingredients from Canadian suppliers. Apparently they also make custom candies. Which I imagine would be great promotional materials for companies and also the cutest wedding favours for couples getting married. Looking forward to a time when I can go back to Montreal and go to the bricks and mortar store and check out their candies.

She must have got it at a boutique in heaven" (Justin Timberlake) There's a plethora of pretty and beautiful things to choose from in this boutique. The Boutique Chocosina is in the heart of Old Montreal on Rue Saint-Sulpice. The gorgeous store is stocked with all types of chocolate, sweet treats, marshmallows, bars, gift baskets and gift boxes, bulk candy and pretty much whatever your sweet tooth desires. We picked up a small bar of salted caramel chocolate and a gorgeous chocolate bar with candied orange rind for us, and jars of caramel and chocolate covered marshmallows for the grandkids. Chocolate and orange combinations have long been a favorite of ours, and I gotta tell you, their version of this combo was fantastic. Delicious milk chocolate with a distinct undertone of orange. You'll find the store in Old Montreal on the corner of Rue Saint-Sulpice and Rue Saint-Paul Ouest just up the street from the Hotel Nelligan.

We went up and down the streets mostly window shopping, but we had to stop by this chocolate boutique. Inside, the shop is a sweet lover's dream. There were walls of colorful, bulk jellybeans in clear tubes, bins of sweet and tart gummies, and paint cans to be/filled with treats. On one wall, there were stacks of caramel pebbles, crunchy balls, and gummies. And by the door, there is an attractive display of sweet gifts. I went with the milk chocolate French bars. The chocolate was creamy, perfectly-tempered, and studded with milk, dark, and white chocolate pearls. I only purchased two bars but there is an online shop to indulge my sweet tooth for when I am done.
