Carré Confiserie is located inside the Cours Mont Royal, strategically located on the same level as the Metro Peel subway, and is open every day of the week. I can confirm that kids are not the only ones who enjoy this beautiful display of candies in a store that is clean and aesthetically well laid out. The owners of the store radiate warmth and offer explanations on any of their products with pride and enthusiasm. Kudos to them for the layout that has a nice hypnotizing effect of being in a candy fantasy land. Many of the candies are imported, mainly from Europe. The ice-cream bites are homemade and delicious. Hello was invited to visit for an Yelp elite event Location is the cour mont royal building in the tunnel to subway. The owner was there and he is super friendly. He gave me a beautiful Halloween loot bag. The store is packed with every type of candy you can thick of. You name it he has it. Along with the candy he had a nice selection of ice cream bites but did not try it. We took a nice selection of mixed candy home and when we ate them they were super fresh. I always walked by Carré Confiseries but never went inside (though I was always curious!). It's a super cute, small boutique candy shop in the mall, walking past the Simons and towards the Peel metro station. There are a LOT of choices for the candies - you can either do the "pick your own" for $2.75/g or there are prepackaged sweets, candies, Haribo, and COMBOS. Everything is reasonably priced and they even have a delivery option (through Shopify/their website!) The man running the store was super friendly and knew his product really well. He was really excited to tell us about COMBOS, since I had chosen it out of curiosity. He says that they're the only ones in Montreal who carry combos, among telling us about how the ingredients include real cheese. Oh my goodness, he was right about how delicious these stuffed pretzel bites were. I'm thinking about them now and thinking about the next time I'll visit just to pick up a bag! Carre Confiseries is a small little bulk candy store, located off of de Bleury. Just note that the store is split into two sides, in which both walls have their own respective prices. There are gumballs, different-flavored Jelly Belly beans, sour candies, sweet candies, chocolates, etc., as well as packaged candy bars and a little stand of maple-oriented sweets. I wanted to purchase some Canadian chocolates and bars to try them out, and since this place was so conveniently located, I stopped on by. So glad that I did! Michael, who was the employee there, was super sweet, friendly, and welcoming - he was also very informative and very helpful and made some great recommendations. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of the maple chocolates, but there's always a next time! This place seriously is SWEETIES GALORE! Located right by Metro Place des Arts (Exit Bleury), this brightly lit, candy-coloured shop is hard to miss - the only name that stands out amongst the usuals in that area. One of the (countless) things that I miss about the UK is our huge variety of confectionery. Luckily, this place has all those sweets that I was so badly missing and it also brought back so many childhood memories. I felt like Charlie from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory - not knowing where to start or where to look! There is so much to choose from - every flavour Jelly Belly beans, Hubba Bubba's in a bubble gum haven, Liquorice in the Pick & Mix section.... The list is endless! My favorite candy store in the world! From the vibrant colors and endless supply of candies, chocolates, lollies and sweets of all kinds, it is impossible not to feel elated upon entering. The staff is extra friendly and very helpful. Vegans, celiacs and diabetics, fear not! Everything is clearly labeled (sugar-free/gluten-free/gelatin-free). They have tons of selection for all. I have to stop myself from popping in here everytime i pass by Peel metro! The selection of candies is insane, definitely a lot of things I had never seen before (pickle-flavoured ice pops!). They also have ice cream bars that the owner makes himself and they are heavenly (i love the cheesecake one the most). Speaking of the owner, he's such a sweet man! Full Disclosure - I am friends with the owners. This candy store is conveniently located next to place des arts metro on bleury. It stands out because its neighbours are chains such as Subway (the best one i have eaten at) a Tim Hortons and Thai Express. As you would expect from a candy store, it bright and colourful and reflects ones joy of eating candy. They do have a huge selection of candy and chocolates. Seasonally they have an ice cream sundae station during the warm months. So if you are downtown near the place des spectacle and have a candy craving, you have a place to go now! read more

Was in MTL for business around thanksgiving and popped into this store to get some gifts for family. They have a great selection of both typical candies and obscure ones I've only seen while abroad. Oh my goodness, I had the hardest time finding this! It's on the basement floor, near the connection to the other buildings. I'm sure locals have a much easier time. Overpriced store with regular candies. It was nothing special or home made like you see in some other stores in montreal (like Squish). Our candies were old. I paid $10,40 for about 300 grams (a very small bag). Simply not worth it! I suggest to buy the mixed packages they sell at Couche Tard! Or, go to Bulk Barn. Same candies, 5 times cheaper, garantee. Tucked between a couple of chain restos in a new development near Cite du Spectacle is this totally unexpected great local biz. This is a candy savant's candy store with all kinds of rare and hard to find confections: tabasco chocolate, grapefruit gummies, a wall of jelly beans, a whole section devoted to licorice, a big league chew and pez zone that would make any collector giggle with glee. Plus they deliver in under an hour! Helpful staff who are excited and knowledgeable will greet you and give you a tour when you arrive.
