This company claims to be experts in fire, water, and smoke restoration. Due to the lack of and short cut taking they cost my insurance company almost 400k to restore my home which was a ridiculous amount for the amount of damage that TriCo claimed. I had to have other companies come behind them and fix things that Tri-Co was not capable of completing and or fixing correctly. They used lesser quality materials and installed items I did not want or ask to have in my home. And on top of this amount, they wanted me to use the replaceable content $ to pay for some of the work. Greed, greed, greed. So sad. Clint Pressley attempted to advantage of my vulnerability while he is married. Chad and his crew smoked marijuana on my property while on the job. I have so many rude text messages and conversation recordings to back this. Not sure if the insurance man was in on this robbery with these guys, but he would side in with them when I called him for support. Very, very sad. I decided to complete a review upon my last text message to them about two outlets that have not been properly installed and a continued leaking issue in basement where the company cut through my brick and did not patch the area afterwards. Jeff the contractor hates to take responsibility for his choices and companies that he works with, I say this due to his arguments when I would address things such as what I have written about and so many more of a yearlong problem I called 58 Foundations and Waterproofing to assist in the water leaking that TRi-Co's team left unresolved.

We had many community and friend references validifying this team's work. Upon arrival, Jeff Souther, and his friendly/knowledgable staff/family, made us feel at ease while conveying/discussing our plans and dreams. Jeff guided us through the step-by-step process beginning with: Choosing our house plan, and then sending us to reputable companies to pick items such as granite, tile/wood flooring, stone, brick, faucets, lights, etc. He helped us stay within our budget; however, choose exactly what we wanted! Jeff always tried to meet any requests you asked while always using level-headed, sound advice. Using his strategy of cost/plus building, we came out ahead, saving on costs projections. Once beginning construction of our home, all went like clockwork, and often ahead of schedule! Jeff is extremely organized and is excellent leader, often working side-by-side his employees! He also has excellent and dependable teams in place, with planned steps/dates for each team to complete needed tasks to be done. We were totally amazed daily how clean the job site was left at the end of the day as work was done. It was obvious too, that Jeff took great pride in his work, wanting the construction, not just pass inspections, but have qualities that really make it feel like "h0me"! You would often see him landscaping plants/seeding the yard at sunrise, or watering it on his way home from another job site. He even returned to the job site in a few days after having knee replacement! He wanted your home to be a "star" in the neighborhood, and we really feel it is thanks to his expertise! Thank you Jeff Souther, truly a remarkable builder/contractor and good friend to the customer!

The price seemed reasonable for the scope of the work (vapor barrier, exterior caulking, and debris removal), so after verifying that the quote would still be honored, I tried to move forward to schedule service. I say "tried" because after initial contact and a pledge to hear back regarding their availability, AdvantaClean went radio silent for more than a week. When I finally called to follow up, it turned out that they had scheduled service but had neglected to inform me. One can only hope this kind of communication breakdown isn't a regular occurrence. Fortunately, this proved to be the only negative aspect of the experience. Pete, who generated the original quote, was able to answer all of my questions. What was originally predicted to be at least a six-hour job took far less time than anticipated because the work crew added a third person. AdvantaClean completed its work on our house in late May. We've had several heavy rains since then, and the caulking has held up nicely. Though I hope that the need does not arise, I would be open to dealing with this company again.

The insurance company suggested Servepro so I called them and they arrived the next day to begin drying the place. I also agreed to let them take care of the repairs and restoration. While some mistakes were made by them or their subcontractors in the process, they made everything right in the end and I got the impression from the man in charge of restoration (Chad - good guy) that they wanted to do a good job and not get paid for anything they'd not done properly. I hope to never need such a service again, but if I did, I'd have no objection to calling them again.

The reconstruction which should have been done in a few weeks at most, took 5 months, with weeks during which no one showed up to work at all, and was done very poorly. Communication throughout was awful, both with me and between the project manager and his subcontractor. Servpro tried to get me to pay for work they didn't do and is refusing to pay for damage they did (which was documented in their own photographs). Yes, you will need a lawyer. This is absolutely one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They take advantage of you when you are already down. Shame on Tim Coffey and his entire company.
