However, once we made the initial payment, the staging dates began to shift repeatedly. When the staging was eventually completed, it became clear that the space had not been properly planned for. It seemed like the furniture was selected without fully considering the layout of the home, which resulted in a disjointed final look. When we raised concerns, the response we received often felt dismissive, and responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to us. Over the following weeks, after multiple discussions, we were eventually able to get some of the furniture replaced. However, these delays pushed the project timeline back by nearly a month. As a result, the photographer was not able to come on schedule, and we missed the peak selling period of the season. To make matters worse, during the de-staging process, one of their team members accidentally removed or discarded the hardware for an expensive grill, causing additional damage estimated at several hundred dollars. Throughout the process, the Voila team largely denied responsibility for the issues raised. While they described their service as "premium staging," much of the furniture appeared low quality and inconsistent with that positioning. Overall, the delays, damages, and lack of accountability resulted in significant financial and timing losses on our end.

This is completely unacceptable and uncivilized behavior. There were several other spots open on the street but would rather get nearly into blows than park 10 further feet away. The Realtor and sellers will both be contacted about this incident. As my father asked: is this how Voila does business? Obstructing neighbors property and verbally berating them?

My husband and I had Cort furnish our 2-bedroom apartment on 7/23/21. One of the linen bedroom headboards was covered in brown stains at the time of delivery (photo below). We were promised that a new headboard would be delivered promptly. As of today, 8/4/21, we are still waiting for a replacement. In the meantime, we have had guests stay at our home that had to sleep on the stained bedroom furniture which was extremely embarrassing. Cort did not inform us of their first attempted exchange date claiming that they "did not have our number in their system" despite having successfully called us at the time of initial move-in. Unfortunately, my husband and I were both working and unable to receive the delivery. We still have not received confirmation on time of next delivery. The remainder of the furniture was covered in scrapes and marks that the delivery men were trying to conceal with markers at time of delivery. Separately, we asked if we could please exchange two of our table lamps for floor lamps, and were informed that there were NO floor lamps available in the entirety of the NJ/PA area (of note, it took two e-mails to get a response for this request). Not only am I disappointed in the quality of the furniture, I am more upset by the customer service. I would not recommend Cort to any friends or family members.

Over the past two years, there have been issues with AFR. Last year, they delivered a broken piece…read moreof furniture. I requested a replacement. They left the broken piece at our organization while I was on vacation, even though I had already communicated that it needed to be collected. They charged us a rental fee for the broken piece of furniture, and it took many attempts on my part to get a corrected invoice. This year, they ignored the stated collection date for rented furniture, picked it up at a later date, then charged us for the extra time we had the furniture. I tried for months to get this resolved with the sales rep, then later the billing dept, and both parties completely ghosted me. My organization is a non-profit. Finally, we had to pay the incorrect bill because the fund used for this order was closing. Unbelievably bad service. Never again will I work with them.
