Dr. Green performed a root canal yesterday, and today I could not even tell anything had been done to the tooth. He is also the best Novocain injection-giver I have ever witnessed. It doesn't hurt at all. Dr. Green also gave me a new crown on a chipped tooth during the same visit and it is beautiful! It fit and matched perfectly, and I walked out with a new crown in 1 visit. Despite this, my entire half day was wasted before they completed my cleaning. Six months later, I returned for my scheduled appointment only to be told I had to complete the same small X-rays or "take my business somewhere else." although they already completed panoramic X-rays. They wasted my time at both appointments, as if I didn't have work or other responsibilities. The lack of professionalism, communication, and compassion was extremely disappointing.

I left my last dentist because she does not accept Medicare Advantage. I do have gum disease, however, my pockets have been holding steady at 5's for the last 20 years. Is it a coincidence that within one year of seeing this hygienist, my pockets have all of the sudden increased to 7's? I guess I'll never know the answer to that. My last appointment with them was for a cleaning in October of 2024. During this appointment Yer Lee (the hygienist), pierced my lower lip with her dental tools. It took approximately 1 1/2 weeks for the swelling to go down. Her reaction to the piercing was: "It's ok". My reaction: "No it's NOT OK". She also smeared fluoride all over my teeth (even though in my last appointment, I specifically stated that I don't want that treatment. After researching it, I found that the ADA states " Fluoride must be ingested, topical fluoride is ineffective". Plus, I have a bridge for my upper 6 teeth (i.e. they are fake teeth). Yer Lee is obviously not smart enough to realize that fluoride, even if the ADA had thought that it was effective, can NOT be absorbed by fake teeth. When I called to cancel my next appointment and ask that my dental records be sent to my new dentist, the office staff wasn't even curious as to WHY I was leaving their facility for another. Her attitude was almost as if they get lots of these requests.

I got a crown and a cleaning, and I'm very happy with my crown (so far). The cons, however, are... - They wrote down my birthday incorrectly, which at first was hilarious because I was flattered that they thought I was 18 yo. But then I was concerned that they wrote down the month, day AND year incorrectly. - After receiving my Novocain injection before applying my new crown, the Dr. left the room to let it set in. Several minutes later, I got up and looked around to give the hint like "hey, I'm still in here, let's get this show on the road". FFwd to 40+ freakin minutes later! The Dr. returned and said there was an emergency, which is understandable, but someone could have told me while I waited impatiently, instead of just blinking at me when I poked me head out of the room. - After paying, I asked the receptionist if I could have a toothbrush... and she said no! Even though they just got hundreds of dollars out of my new crown, they couldn't spare a toothbrush (only after I got a cleaning, she said). Jeez. - When I still did end up coming back for a cleaning (and finally my toothbrush hehe), the dental assistant scraped my teeth SO aggressively that I asked her to stop. Oof. TL;DR My teeth are clean and my crown is holding up, but I experienced some really bizarre service!

The anesthetic had not totally taken effect before the DDS started drilling. My daughter is in her late 20s and was shamed in the dental chair for her oral hygiene. If I didn't encourage her to keep going to a dentist she would probably never go back to a dental office. It is like the Dentist has a chip on her shoulder and has always had to defend herself in her profession. Maybe a professional could use their knowledge to kindly inform a patient to change rather than beat them down. We are looking for a kinder, gentler dentist that is a good technical provider.

Terrible for Veterans. I am not from the Blaine area & I asked for directions. The woman that…read more"helped" me was very short with me & asked me why dont I just use my phone?!? I had several probs with my cell so I asked her one more time for. directions. When I got there, the person that checked me in was very nice. However, the dental tech was TERRIBLE. She was very short with me, she cut me off several times & made me feel like I was wasting her time. She jammed the x-ray piece in my mouth & caused a little bleeding. I told her she cant just shove it in & she cut up my gum. I told her the VA used a child bitten block because my mouth is so small. She blew me off. I have never felt to unwanted. I am a 100% disabled veteran. I needed help. They were unable to fix my tooth. I think it was a blessing. I hope the VA will evaluate my case. I hate to complain, but veterans deserve better treatment. We deserve to be treated like everybody else.
