To whom it may concern, I have been a customer of Link Now Media for A year now and I must say that my experience with this company has been nothing but good. Link now media made it easy for me to move my website to them as well as update my website with new ideas and marketing techniques to make by business more successful. There is one person in particular that I give credit for getting things done in relationship to my site her name is Eve Mendelovitch. Eve has been my go to representative at Link Now Media, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with . As I wright his letter I find myself reflecting back on the first conversation I had with Eve about my site, my call to Link Now was of concern. I had been communicating with a web designer and was having trouble getting what I wanted for my site. The person who answered the phone transferred me to Eve, she first asked me what the problem was, listened to everything I had to say, agreed that some changes could be made, and that she would personally make sure that they would be addressed right away. Also if I had any future concerns I could contact her about anything, anything at all. Well I can't tell you how many times we've all heard that before but she was very believable this one, so I was Hopeful. Sure enough my concerns were addressed the next day. I have talked to Eve Once or twice a month about my site. If she doesn't answer the phone which is rare she always answers her messages, and promptly [ which I really like ]. I have so many things going on as a small business owner and not nearly enough time it seems to address all of them. Eve has been a blessing to me dealing with all of my website concerns I don't find myself needing to micromanage every change made, or to follow up with phone calls or emails about the same thing time after time, or an alteration that was missed or done incorrectly. Eve is one of those people who just gets you, she's "on the same page" so to speak, and seems to have a great vision in regards to what will work as well as what won't. I have also noticed that Eve has a very good working relationship with the rest of the staff at Link Now and that they share a really good work atmosphere and all seem to enjoy each other and what they do. When I have a concern Eve is nearly always available and right up to speed with what's going on so I don't have to explain something over again or to another representative. One would be very fortunate to have the Link Now Media team and especially Eve Mendelovitch representing their website needs. I was looking to redesign and update my web site after several years and began looking for new web designers. My previous firm had done a reasonable job but not exciting job. During my search LinkNow Media contacted me and we went over my needs and examples of sites they had done. They came off, from the start, as being more "together", more conscious of what I wanted and more willing to work with me. After signing up, I provided via a questionnaire, many of my needs and expectations and also, in my case, links to a number of sites that I felt were well-designed, provided the message that I wanted to convey and were in the same industry (architecture). The latter was most important because many web designers had "vanilla" prototypes that were ill-suited for my expectations. My assigned designer Gio Ghaderi, immediately produced several prototypes that were "right on". We continued to develop the site with back-an-forth dialogue, samples, more input from me, many adjustments and tweaks by Gio. We got to know each other very well, discussed the fortunes and misfortunes of Arsenal FC and he continued to respond to my comments or criticisms in a positive manner by trying things out to show me how they looked or how or why they might not. The final product turned out to be better than I had anticipated and response from those who had seen my previous site and the new one was, as expected, in the vein of "it's about time" or "what took so long to get a much better site?". Needless to say, I owe much of the final product to Gio's efforts, professional and abilities. I should add that since completing the web site, I have been approached on several occasions by other architects intending to rebuild or redesign their sites and inquiring about LinkNow Media. Beware of the services offered by this company. They have put together what seems to be a professional company. They offer you a service that they never deliver; once they get caught they cancel you without notice. In my case, I asked Robert Patterson (sales man) to have a manager call me so we could discuss my problem. He promised to get me a manager, but instead he sent me an email stating that "As per your request, this email is to confirm that your account with LinkNow! Media has been cancelled, and all future monthly billing has been terminated." The email below as I copied and pasted it. They withdraw money from your account, they tell you to be patience that it takes time for your web page to work. Then they send you a bogus report of your web page ranking, and finally once they get caught they terminate you. THIS IS THE EMAIL FROM ROBERT PATTERSON AND MY REPLY TO HIM. From: ROB I never asked you to cancel my account, I asked you to get me in contact with your manager. You are playing dangerous games here. Have your Manager contact me. My experience with LinkNow Media started out innocently enough as an updated and refreshed version of my ten year old original website. Gauderic Perignon was the designer assigned to me. Little did he know, nor did I know that this would turn into a two year project, best described as an archive of 54 years of architectural practice. It continued to expand as I found more and more images and information. The look and feel and the intuitive navigation of the site evolved slowly with the patient guidance of Gaudy's technical expertise and aesthetic sensitivity. It became an enormous task for me to find, organize, scan and email some 1200 images of 160 projects, each with descriptive information. It was frustrating at times and I probably was not very pleasant to work with, but Gaudy always responded cheerfully and professionally. He offered me great freedom in his willingness to explore all design and navigation ideas until I was completely satisfied, and was extremely patient with me in my crazy quest for perfection. he seemed to have the ability to flow along with my thinking and offer just the right suggestion for improvement at just the right time. I would have to say that Gaudy was the perfect web designer to have been assigned to my project and was a complete pleasure to work with. I saw the bad reviews and wanted to give my 2 cents. I've been working with these guys for about 15 years. Over the years, I have upgraded to the more expensive package to enhance marketing, and I can tell you I've had really good success with them. They have always handled all my concerns in a timely manner and have been really good about sending reports about marketing analytics. It takes time, but after about 6 months to a year, I can see the marketing investment paying off. They told me upfront that it would take time, and sure enough, it has happened just as they said. I will continue to work with them. I have worked with other seo companies and have had less success with others. In all, I am generally happy with the service. I noticed a lot of the reviews are about them cold-calling or offering a free generic website at no cost. I can't blame them. How would they stay in business if they did custom websites for everyone they were trying to sell to before customers sign up. I'm not a fan of cold calling and I can't remember how we connected with them originally, but I probably wouldn't have worked with them based on a cold call. Wow! I initially had reservations about using a company located so far away, but I am glad I went through with it. My sales rep, James, took the time to discuss and design a plan that fit my needs. I was immediately assigned a website design team customer contact, Jon, who is awesome and completely focused on providing superior customer service. He even, without question, added custom options to my website at the price my rep verbally quoted me but was not put in writing. Jon took the time to set up an appointment with a logo designer, Gio, and that has also been an easy process with timely communication. Even though we are only half-way through the website design process, I am certain I made the right choice going with LinkNow and I will definitely use them when I am ready to expand my business presence in the local google search results. Don't let the few negative reviews outweigh all the overwhelmingly positive ones and dissuade you from choosing this company from your website design and promotion needs as I almost did. The LinkNow Team was a pleasant surprise, fabulous customer services and products for a VERY reasonable price. Almost therapy in the manner and skill that this company has in in the lost art of LISTENING. Including listening to me rant about our previous company. While the whole team is stellar I was particularly impressed with Ebony Palmer. Ebony ACCURATELY relayed all of my website design instructions to the team, no matter how many twists and turns and detours the setup conversation took. Think about when you are clicking around your own website during the creation -- one change leads to another and another until it's difficult to remember where you started, except Ebony always remembered. I was contacted by Linknow Media a few months back - Their representative Drew Reynolds - dreynolds@linknowmedia.com, offered the world - saying that he will get our site ranked to the very top of google and will show up on google local on the map. I see that we show up, but not for our category or even our address name! The representative Diana Lalone dlalone@linknowmedia.com failed to get our name on google! I had them do two websites TrueEleganceLimousines.net and BeautifulNapaWineTours.com - no where on the search terms does their sites come up. Matter of fact how can they? They are not unique but rather an exact copy of elitelimonapa.com - they SOLD ME THE EXACT SAME SITE FOR $500 a pop! Two months later the sites still dont show up on google - or bing or yahoo. Bad Bad Bad. Don't get your site done by them - they will just charge the $69 per month local service fee (which they have not delivered) and fail to get any results. I will report them to BBB too. I hired this company about 2 years ago. I went from their $99 package all the way to their "Traffic Frenzy" package for $1300 a month. I paid them probably $15,000 for my website in total. It has created 0 traffic in 2 years. I just fired them and hired a new company. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I just never got any results. I am a roofer and I was able to get better results with what I learned on youtube and google. This company builds websites using godaddy wordpress templates which you can do yourself relatively easily. I do not think they even know about proper SEO management. No Social Media, no G+, no blogs, no backlinks, they suck. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more
