I don't like the idea of any kind of procedures and shy away from dentists and doctors. So, if I had to get a colonoscopy I wanted to be sure I had the right person to do it. Asked around in the hospital where I work and this doc (Dr R) was recommended as doctor's doctor. Seems everyone I spoke to (nurses and docs had this guy do the honors). So, I had the test today. I would say everything about this was 5 stars. Right from check- in- very pleasant staff. Doc came and spent a good time with me explaining about the procedure (he's done 13000!!!) what to expect etc. from that point on everything was a breeze.. woke up feeling better than I went in. He can back and explained the results to Me and my wife. Clean bill of health ..and no need for another one for the next 10 yrs.

Where do I begin…read more... I have never found a doctor so willing to listen, so concerned for my health, so thorough in his testing and so very educated in his field. Dr. Lally has been around the GI block and his knowledge of newly emerging technology, new discoveries in disease, and diagnosis is unbelievable. He gives weight to his patients symptoms, has heartily agreed with my idea to try and elimination diet, and encourages me to email him as much as I like with updates as to my symptoms ('how else will I come up with the most accurate histology report if I don't know how you are doing all the time'). He has never rushed me in or out of the office and even when I thought there was no problem, he felt he needed to get to the bottom of my symptoms. His bedside manner is wonderful, he is kind, caring and concerned. And after doing this for so many years he seems to have an innate sense for a person's condition and symptoms. I can't laud him and his abilities enough!

So I saw Dr. Leung 4 years ago for my first colonoscopy and she was so good at explaining…read moreeverything to me - what was going to happen, why, etc. Based on the results from that procedure I found out I needed to see her again in 3 years. They were so good - they sent me a reminder and when I couldn't do the procudure due to changing my insurance, I was determined to change it to a plan the following year where I could have her do my procedure and I'm SO GLAD I did. Not only was my first time experience non eventful and actually I have to say - overall, prep, procedure, after procedure - went seamlessly, without any issue - went exactly the way she and her staff said it would... my 2nd time was just the same. Mind you my medical history changed a bit and so my prep changed which is what made me appreciate her even MORE... she tailors everything to me and before the procedure her nurse called and we went through EVERYTHING... Day of went without a hitch - in fact I have to say I pretty much was in and out during the procedure - I remember seeing things on the screen and hearing things and then dozing off again... I was comfortable, and feeling fine... and woke up in my little recovery area - totally fine... a little woozy but they are so patient - LOVED nurse Annie... she was awesome!! I hope that's her name - I was a little out of it :) Dr. Leung also came by to check in on me before and after I was awake... and was very calm and comforting. AND the nurse called me the day after - open to any questions - reminded me of what to do as they figured I might not remember which I got a few things mixed up so that's all cleared up now. So I feel completely taken care of with no outstanding issues or questions. The Atherton Endoscopy facility is nice and cozy - the staff there is so nice - you just feel at ease right away...They have internet there so hubby was able to keep busy while waiting for me - and if you're a Costco member - they have one just down the street.. so that was nice for him :) I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Leung. It's interesting - when you tell people you're having a colonoscopy - you get that sympathetic look, but I have to say - this experience - while not pleasant during the prep - all in all was fine... I stop at the word "pleasant" but I will say I have no after affects and only have positive emotions... I don't DREAD the next one at least. :)

Unfortunately, technical issues were the cause of an unsuccessful appointment including failed communication from office staff. I have left four messages over four weeks including a website inquiry, to date, not even an acknowledged phone call or email. Understand the many many challenges of COVID, however, not even an acknowledged call or email of my inquiry is unacceptable. I then went back to my primary who contacted this office to inquire about their silence , and was told this office staff blamed me for a failed appointment,!?!?? Again, I left four voice mails during their business hours and an email, to date- nothing from this staff. NOTHING.
